Whenever I come down to Smith Lake, I stop at S & S to pick up some filets. Medium rare and the most tender steak I have had. Grab some deviled eggs by the deli and I’m all set! I just need to walk past their bakery, which is delicious as well.

S & S has THE BEST meats!!! Great, great employees, good bakery selection, but I was disappointed that they rarely carry the baby cucumbers. Still, all of their pluses far outweigh that one, small item.

There are only two (2) locations for this family-owned grocery store, so you'd think they were somewhat 'pricy'. No, they aren't. Very competitive. Good people all the way around.

Amazing! I love the cobblers. You can't beat the prices for meat. Very pleased. They even carry some diabetic friendly products.

My local grocery. They have plant-based milk, Starbucks vegan caramel macchiato and hazelnut latte creamer, drink mixers, pomegranate juice, and the salsa in the produce area is my favorite! It is made in the store, so it is a little different each time.

When we stop in here . It's usually to pick up a steak. Their meat section isn't bad. Nice cuts . And priced decently.

All the cashier and stockers are very nice management couldn't ask for better employees

They are so sweet and helpful their meat is the best in Cullman and anything that comes from the deli is delicious 😋 the manager Beth is a very helpful polite and just has a great attitude thanks so much for everything y’all do to be a community store and I love that it is locally owned and has that hometown feel.

I was pleasantly surprised. S&S is off the road a bit in a nondescript building, but the inside is very neat, clean, and has everything you need and a few you may have forgotten. Excellent meat department, fresh produce, and a wide variety of frozen foods. They even have homemade casseroles made on site. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back in the future.

A great selection of meats and produce, the the quality of items made in-store are fabulous. (I can't seem to make it out of there without one of their key lime pies). Great selection on all products, (I had looked everywhere for refried black beans, found them at S&S!) And the people who work there are so friendly and helpful.

I have always thought S&S Foods in Doge City, Al. had very nice meats. On Friday the 10th, I got some (8) bone in center cut pork chops special cut for grilling. To make this short, they were the tastiest, tenderest, most moist pork chops my wife and I have ever eaten. Thank you thank you thank you for being way above expectations. You have a customer for as long as I can shop

I love this little store, found it just riding around on a Sunday and decided to stop in and check it out. I was very impressed with their meat department, especially with the selection of different cuts of steaks. Everything in the vegetable department looked to be fresh and well rotated. They had at the time some of the largest baking potatoes I've ever seen, really nice little grocery store!!
