Whitlock's Cafe

We love going to Whitlocks! The food is simple and delicious every time! The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is second to none! If you've never ate there give it a try if you like the old hometown feeling!

Great food at good prices and good service

Do not listen to previous reviews about this place. It is great. Locally owned, good ole’ country folks cooking good ole’ southern food. It is not a new establishment, so it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. It does have delicious food and super nice employees, who were very attentive to us. Double cheeseburger was HUGE and so good!! Can’t wait to eat breakfast there tomorrow ☺

Everything was excellent. They need more staff. They waitress was sure getting her exercise in. We will definitely go back.

This is a quaint little place where the service was fast and friendly, and the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. A great way to set the tone for a weekend long work retreat.

It's better than Arby's and Wendy's food so that's a plus 🤣🤣💗😁

My wife and I were out on a motorcycle ride, and we discovered Whitlock's cafe by luck we were hungry, so we stopped. We went in and had a seat it was lunch time on a Saturday the place was about halfway full the waitress came over and took our order within a minute or two we ordered 2 Ice tea's and two cheeseburgers and fries. We had our meals in about 5-7 minutes the cheeseburgers were very good thick and juicy and as big as the bun. The fries were crinkle cut and hot and the iced tea was good as well. there was also a lot of take outs while we were there, I will defiantly stop in again.

The food there is always great and just good old country folks and the owner is just as nice as he can be.

One of our favorite place to go!!! The BEST breakfast ever!! Had western omelet, gravy & biscuit & husband had pancakes!! OMGoodness....Homemade & SO good!!

Great small town Cafe with great food and service!

Been enjoying the atmosphere of this place for over twenty years. Good place to eat all year around. Hospitality food prepared the way I want it. Great place to meet up with friends after a day at Smith lake park. Or at a friend's place on the lake. Atmosphere. Good food. Good friends. Good hospitality.

Expensive garbage. Water in their gas tanks will ruin your engine, literally everything for sale Bruce whitlock buys from Walmart and puts in hit store for a 45% markup. Remember seeing those chips and stuff as a kid that has printed on the packaging "not for individual resale"? Well guess where you'll find a store buying those big packs of chips and candies that resell them. This place. The store is practically in run down shape on the gas station side, looks like it is stuck in the 90s and never left it looks this way in the 90s I bet as cheap as Bruce is. He refused to pay for a lawnmower to be fixed all because the gas tank has a leak in it that was easily fixable. Cheap cheap cheap. Bad gas, overrated and priced good and food, disgusting rundown store. Typical back woods greedy and cheap trash.

Amazing breakfast, I love that their menu is open all day! Best chicken philly!

I have eaten there plenty enough to know that you can't beat Whitlock's for good Comfort food. And the service has always been above par and everyone there is always very friendly and helpful. If you're down by Smith Lake Park, I would definitely recommend you stopping in for a bite to eat. You won't be disappointed. And the prices won't hit your wallet too hard either. Good job Whitlock's.
