Working up this way for the day and tried to get in last Friday, 3/1/24, but there wasn't any parking available which says something. Made it in today and was not disappointed. Got the chicken fried steak w/ mashed potatoes and fried okra. Whomever they have frying up stuff in back knows how it's done correctly because everything came out perfect. The young lady that waited on us was super friendly as well. Overall, a great place with great food and a great atmosphere.

We loved this place. Outstanding burgers, chicken fried steak, and gigantic slices of cake. Very friendly staff. Off the beaten path but worth the detour from 45. Very reasonable prices!

The food here is absolutely delicious, the lady at the front that took our to-go order was very welcoming. We ordered burgers and boy were they delicious. Will definitely be going back.

One of the greatest American food Mom n Pop restaurants in the area. There isn't one dish I've ordered here that my family didn't say 'dang that's good Dad" about. Will be happy to return again when in the New Caney area.

Lunch was fantastic today!! First time to try the crispy chicken salad and so glad I did! But I could not resist the strawberry cake on the way out. Good thing I have someone to share it with :)

By far the best eatery in the New Waverly, Texas area. Excellent service, food and price. All selections are great. See ya there!

Bought 2 hamburgers and chicken strips with sides and drinks. That after tax cam out to roughly $12 per person.
Would recommend visiting and eating here.

My family recently moved to New Waverly from Huntsville and I'm so sad I never tried Murski's sooner. Their burgers are delicious. The bun is crispy and buttery. The patty has great flavor. Their fries and tatertots are always crispy (even togo). I've had their grilled cheese as well and it was perfect. We just had their breakfast for the first time today. Pancakes are huge, sweet, and fluffy. The people there are so sweet and attentive. Love when I get to eat there.

Juicy, HootieBurger made with 1/2 lb of beef. Was the patty marinated? Delicious either way. Cluck Burger, grilled - room to improve - a little “hard” but good. Fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, great bun. Condiments served on the side.

Sides- we had onion rings & fried okra. Both very good. Tater tots were an option.

They have an extensive menu- worth exploring. Great Mom &Pop venue. Beats franchise food by a country mile.

Great service. Chicken fried chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly, really moist. The taco salad was very good, and large. Waitress was friendly and attentive.

If you want a real chicken fried steak, well this is where it resides and they have real saw mill gravy to put all over it, paired with real texas toast and two sides of your choice. Sarah was very attentive and kept my drink topped off and even offered a take out beverage. This is going to be another one of my go to places to eat.
Update. Finally went for breakfast and had a wonderful experience 😌

What a hidden gem. I'm sure the locals all know about this delightful dive but as far as home style cafes go, if your passing through, you couldn't go wrong stopping in for some chicken fried chicken and good coffee
