Motel 6 Huntington, WV

Our stay was perfect for what we needed! Check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and had great recommendations for sight-seeing in the Huntington area (the Autumn Rail Express, upcoming festivals, etc.). The room was well-maintained and clean--we were so delighted to find folded towels in the shapes of swans when we got in! Plus, the in-room hot tub was perfect for soaking and relaxing after a long day of driving. As an added bonus, the motel is in walking distance to Jolly Pirates Donuts for an easy, delicious breakfast run. Can't recommend enough and a huge, sincere thank-you to the fine folks at the motel for a memorable stay!

Clean and quiet pet friendly room with near instant hot water. But the staff are what makes this location spectacular. I had contacted motel earlier in the day that we would be arriving very late and that I needed 1st floor and near parking due to breathing issues. We arrived at midnight to find a very full parking lot. When I checked in at the night window I was asked to wait just a moment while he moved his own car they had used for a placeholder directly in front of my door. With this kind of special attention, we will stay again when our travels bring us in this direction. I wish I could give them 10 ⭐.

A budget, pet friendly, clean room and good service is what I look for when travelling and this scores a 5 for me. Front desk was great! I had trouble with the key card and was moved to a different room right away. Both rooms were clean. The shower was perfect, easy to use and water temperature and pressure were perfect. Linen, floors, fridge were all clean. On my way to visit family I just needed a place to sleep. As previous reviewers have mentioned, you can hear the traffic, but that doesn't bother me. When I travel, I'm lucky to be awake 5 minutes after my head hits the pillow (which had better be clean and fresh!). This is not an upscale place... if you are looking for that, go elsewhere. But if you want sleep in a clean room and you want to feel safe and don't want to spend an arm and a leg to do it, then this is the place. If there are issues, you want friendly staff who treats you like a valued customer. I have two routes I can use to get to my destination; I will go out of my way to stay here next time I travel. Side note: I have travelled with my pets, staying at Motel 6 for over 20 years. This place takes a deposit which is something new for me. I don't like it, but I understand the reasons. My dogs are well trained so my deposit isn't at risk, but I know that isn't the case with all travelers and the owner has to protect his investment.

Conveniently located near the interstate. Not many restaurants are within walking distance. Limited parking especially with trucks and trailers. The room wasn't the best Motel 6 yet not the worst either. It may need some remodeling however for the amount of a one-night charge, it was acceptable. The front desk was friendly and helpful

They were so sweet and moved their car for us because they had a full parking lot. Best motel i ever stayed at.

I was surprised. The was updated,and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. If i find myself back in this town i'll probably stay here again especially for the price.

We did a Road Trip from SD to VA. We miscalculated the time change, and advised them of an ETA an hour earlier. They were VERY accommodating on a late arrival. Customer Service was EXCELLENT! Host was even concerned about where we parked, in case of an accident. Room and Bathroom were VERY CLEAN. It had a fridge and a microwave, as requested. Thank you!

We were also greeted by a beautiful Giant Imperial Moth! And it was also VERY close to Ohio, so if y'all wanna say y'all have been to Ohio, even for a little bit, this is a GREAT location for it!

The person that I talked to there was very nice. They have a pet area and are very pet friendly. Room was clean and quiet.

Very personable staff and clean rooms. The building looks older but the rooms we recently renovated. Beds were reasonably comfortable, but the shower was a little broken. Overall a good stay

I’ve never had a problem at that motel it did start off rough but there are new people and they’re cleaning it up everyday to make it better the staff have always been friendly I would come back anytime thanks motel 6

With a location that's right off the interstate on RT 60, your not too far from anywhere you want to go. The rooms have been nicely updated for a more modern feel to the room.
