Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (DVSC) - Fort Worth

My beloved, otherwise-healthy, 10-year young lab mix was suddenly diagnosed with a malignant and highly aggressive oral tumor. Without quick and decisive intervention, Panda would have been in unbearable pain in a matter of weeks. After consulting with Dr. Tichenor I gratefully accepted the offer of surgery. Due to scheduling issues, Dr. Franks performed Panda's surgery and she did a brilliant job. Panda is recovering beautifully, and we have every reason to believe the cancer is gone for good.
Words cannot adequately describe my admiration, respect and gratitude for the outstanding care, compassion and expertise that this extraordinary team provides. My precious girl is alive today only because I put her in the care of these wonderful people. Best decision I ever made.

We have an extended history with DVSC, having multiple pets needing their expertise. Our family is so very grateful for the caring and informative staff and Doctors. Although we pray that we don’t need their expertise again, if the situation arises, we will contact them first.

I recently brought my pet to Dallas veterinary surgical center for a tumor removal surgery, and I cannot praise this clinic enough! The responsiveness and attentiveness of the staff were exceptional from start to finish. They made a stressful situation much more manageable with their compassion and professionalism.

The entire team went above and beyond my expectations, ensuring my pet received the best care possible. They were always available to answer my questions and provide updates, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Dr. Park went above and beyond.

Dr. Wells took great care of my dog, and he was ready to come home the day after surgery. He’s doing great and I have Dr. Wells and the DVSC staff to thank for that. I highly recommend them if, heaven forbid, you have a serious situation to deal with.

Great experience! Dr. Wells was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her! Very personable! The front desk staff were happy and helpful. Jose was wonderful even knowing my rescue fur baby was afraid of men. Overall great experience!!

Dr. Wells, Jayde, Jose, and Lindsey were all wonderful. My pup had a tumor removal surgery and all of them were kind and sensitive to how nervous I was. They took time to answer questions and give me updates when she stayed overnight. I don’t want to have to be back, haha, but if I did they were wonderful.

Our dog has had two TPLO surgeries here with Dr. Parks. She is a great surgeon and I highly recommend her. The front desk staff is helpful and quick with their assistance.

The only thing I would recommend is a little more communication about what to expect. When our dog had surgery, we weren't told that she would be there over night. She has a specific diet, and I actually had surgery scheduled for myself the next day. So it was a surprise to learn she wasn't coming home that night. My husband had to juggle getting me checked in at the hospital, going to get our dog, dropping her off alone at home, and then coming back to the hospital for me. Had we known to expect her to be overnight, we would have packed her food and moved it to a different day. Just a small recommendation, but I would definitely still come for treatment here.

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the surgery center staff in Grapevine! They went above and beyond to not only provide exceptional care for our baby (4 yo male Chug) but also for their kindness, grace, and impecable patience with is during a very difficult time. Dr. Tichenor, Dr. Q, Angela (vet tech), and Jose exceeded any expectation we could possibly have in the circumstances we faced. Super clean place, staff was friendly and informative. Doctor spent time making sure we understood what needed to be done and called the doctor he was referring us to while we were there to ensure we were on the right track.

Everything from handling the referral, initial consultation and through the surgery and after care they made a really hard experience much easier to handle.

Our experience with the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center was great. Our dog had the coolest surgeon ever--Dr. Michael Orencole. He met with us before the surgery and called us afterwards. The vet techs, especially Jose, and receptionists took very good care of our dog and us. We even had a credit on our account when we check out, which was a very pleasant surprise! I would highly recommend this facility!

DVSC saved my bulldogs life after eating 12 chicken bones and some other trash. Jessica, the tech, and all of the vets were so kind, caring , compassionate, and loving to my baby. They put us at ease the entire time. Jessica went above and beyond to keep us up to date, because she knew how worried we were, we can tell she has a heart of gold and that's exactly who you want taking care of your babies in the worst and scariest times. So thankful to all for saving our precious fur baby. She is our little ball of sunshine. Everyone was so sweet and so kind to my bulldog. And above all, the surgery was performed amazingly. She is still in recovery but i feel peace knowing that DVSC employ top notch surgeons, techs, and have a great facility. I know she received the best possible care, both the expertise and the compassion of DVSC Fort Worth was incredible.

My Bulldog had to have surgery on his pallet and nasal passages. We checked with three different vets, and due to the severity, they all recommended DVSC. It wasn't cheap, but they did an excellent job. He can breath so much better now.

Zaria needs a TPLO surgery for her torn ACL. Dr. Orencole is incredible! Wonderful bedside manner, didn't feel rushed at all, he described, drew a picture, and used models to explain the procedure. Very patient and knowledgeable. Very happy to have Zaria in his hands come the 23rd for her surgery. Gold stars all around! Thank you!

Grapevine location - Very professional experience and very focused on our pup's surgery needs. Excellent dialog and explanations. Very prompt with follow ups.

We were very pleased with our experience with Jose & Dr. Orencole in their care and evaluation of our dog Augie Doggie. We are confident in their diagnosis and at this time we are trying to get the funds available to pursue further treatment for him.

Doctors were very helpful and thorough. I felt informed each step of the way and appreciated the time they took to explain everything. Annie is doing well and I believe it has so much to do with the excellent care she received. Quick and thorough treatment with compassion.

The staff - front desk, assistant, nurses and surgeon were all very professional, patient, kind and considerate. Phone calls were quick to respond.

Dr. Wells was the perfect surgeon for us because she had in depth knowledge of my cat’s breed and his specific needs and was able to explain his prognosis and the surgical pros and cons to me in a way I could understand. This place was like the Mayo Clinic for pets-every step of the process was excellent and the staff members were so sweet to my kitty. I would absolutely come back here and I wish they weren’t just surgical because the vet had a great bedside manner and really knew her stuff.

When I got there I was greated by the receptionists and they were all very kind and welcoming. Dakota was the one who set me up in a room and went over history with me, he was very nice throughout the whole thing.

Alyssa went over the estimate and discharge with me, she is very friendly and explains everything well.
Dr. Orencole made time to see us at drop off and explain how we should proceed with treatment. He kept me updated throughout the process and was very helpful with decision making.

Overall everyone here is very nice and thorough with caring for my dog during her visit.
