JOANN Fabric and Crafts

It’s a Super store!! It’s huge so make sure you are not in a hurry otherwise you’ll miss a bargain. I quilt, embroidery and crochet so I was able to stock up. Im in the city every quarter and get my supplies that I need. (it saves me shipping costs). There are also coupons for additional savings. I failed to mention that the staff was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about multiple options of products available for your needs and exactly where they are located. I really appreciated the sales people being aware of the store layout so I could get my items and get home to create.

Called about a few questions and to see if some yarn was in stock and Franklin was so attentive and helpful! He was so kind to find exactly what we needed and ensure it was set aside for when we arrived.

What a friendly, helpful staff. Budget minded employees are such a rare and appreciated bunch. Thanks Joann's! I was home sewing my first project in no time.

The cashier Samuel was so helpful!! He was doing 10 things at once, helping every customer on his way to check out line, he was very personable and helpful and he was so easy to talk to and joke with. Amazing staff!! Give that man a raise!!!

Store is clean and organized. Hats off to Cashier # 749327 he went above and beyond to help us with our purchase making sure we received all discounts we were supposed to get.

My daughter had her 5th birthday party here. Emille did a great job teaching us how to make hand puppets! She did a great job being patient with out 12 young guest. Just took advantage of some great Memorial Day fabric deals. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I apologized because I had about 10 bolts of fabric that I wanted half a yard from (quilting). The staff were very accommodating and I didn’t feel like an inconvenience. They were still very quick too

They finally increase their options for fabric! The people who cut fabric are always so kind and helpful. The store is always clean and well-organized. The one huge suggestion I would make is to fix your coupons system so people don't have to download the app or sign in in order to use coupons. There aren't enough cashiers as it is and it backs up the line when the cashiers obviously look annoyed when each customer doesn't have the app or doesn't use Facebook so they can't sign in. Especially your elderly customers who don't have a smartphone but want to use coupons.

It doesn't help when people who do have a smartphone go to download the app but the building off of I-10 and Gessner cut cell phone signal. I was in the store on Saturday and the cashier looked flustered because the line was building but the customer wanted to use coupons. It's fantastic that you guys are now paperless but try having the coupons already at the register. I hope this helps!

I went here years ago to get some fabric for a friend to make a blanket for me. I found myself just sitting here relaxing in my home under my blanket and I'm looking at the blanket thinking it's been so so many years since I had her make it and I still have the blanket. I was just just reminiscing on that thought.
I had dogs that chewed it up and everything but I still have my blanket and I really like it and I'm glad that I purchased the fabric to make it when I did. Little tots and little children are not the only one that has to have their little blanky me too LOL. The fabric has crosses in different colors and my favorite colors orange and green. I really like the theme and I have it in my prayer room today. I see myself when I get older still packing my little blanket around with me and making sure whoever takes care of me doesn't lose it.

I'm learning to crochet and they had tons of options! Lots of yarn, but not as many hooks as other craft stores, many books. The cashier was so friendly, overall a really positive experience.

This was my first time coming and the staff was very welcoming and cheerful, especially Cathy at the front. You rock Cathy! She gave me coupons to use in the future and informed me of discounts for medical professionals. I like the prices on kids crafts. Will be back!

Great finds..but geez they need more people to work the store.

I've been going to thus joanns for a while and it's great! All the staff are really nice and can help you find the things to finish a project! the one negative is that sometimes the in store inventory doesn't match what is online, but I highly doubt that it's the workers fault and just whatever computer system the company uses.

What a lovely, welcoming place! We were looking for a specific item and an employee searched what felt like the whole store trying to find what we needed, or a possible substitute. We weren't successful, but I was so impressed with the customer service! i will shop here in the future.

This place is very organized, the way a store should be. I know there will always be some times where the store may need a bit of improvement, especially around the holidays.. However, with that said, there are always employees at this location working every time I come in to get things back in order. Anytime I have a question there is always immediate response. Need to know if they carry an item before making a blank trip? They have the best phone support and assistance as well which is really hard to find now for some reason. The atmosphere here is just so positive and I love it !!!

I've never had a bad experience at this location, and I've been to it at least a dozen times. The ladies that work here are very helpful, and will often remember me from my last visit. The ladies at the fabric cutting counter are always interested to know what I'm working on next. Their fabric selection is great, and there's almost always a sale. I don't understand all of these bad reviews...if you're nice to the employees there, they will be nice right back to you!
