As a property owner I cannot say enough good things about Posey Properties. They take care of their business, and their customers. The 1 time that I have emailed a question, Tom responded back within 3 minutes. My rent house has been maintained and rented quickly. I have never bothered with trivial problems, which is important to me. All their financial reports are easy to ready, include receipts, and are on time each month. After managing my property myself, using another management company and now Tom. I can say that they have by far exceeded all expectations of service.

I rented a older home from Posey Property Management for 1 year. It was obvious the property owner had little interest in improving the property, but the deeply discounted rent was fair for the overall condition. During my lease the plumbing, AC, and garbage disposal required repair. Each time I entered a maintenance request in the very convenient web portal I received a swift, friendly, and satisfactory response from the office staff. I highly recommend Posey Property Management.

We've been renting a house from Posey Properties in Frisco, Texas for the past 15 months. They've been a fantastic management company and have fixed any/all issues we've had with the house right away. I've rented from a lot of different landlords and I have nothing but great things to say about Tom Posey. Highly Recommended!

Great to deal with. They also have a good management company for the rental department. From the Owner Tom Posey to Kim and Erica on the back end, everyone was there to help find and maintain homes. We rented for two years and then purchased in 2019.

I am a landlord with Century 21. I never able to talk to my assign property manager before signing the contract. It turn out my property manager is a troll. There are so many bad things I can say about her. But just let me say, I have to remind my manager my lease with tenant is about to end please find out whether my tenant want to renew or not. One week later she reply, there is still time, we can wait. OK, fine, I wait. As the result of waiting, the earliest my tenant can move out is two months after lease ended because I got my notice in so late.

There are many other little (er) issue. The average email respond time is two weeks or even never. Poor tenant screening process. Poor monthly statement, not following accounting rule at all.

Will ask to change a assign a different property manager. Hope the next one will not be as ignorant as the one I have now. Or I will have to find a different company.

Called and emailed an agent on one of their listings, Charles Elias. After several texts, even his first text should've been a sign with his pre typed message he called me another personas name!! He then retyped it again and added an apology blaming it on his system! He made an appt for 5:30PM, confirmed at 11:32AM! I arrived at 5:21and he never showed up!! He didn't answer my calls or respond to any texts. Called their office left a vm. Around 6, pest control showed up, I explained that we were waiting on Charles and he hasn't returned any calls or texts. He was nice enough to let me in. I viewed the home and I would love to rent home but now I go and look online and it's no longer available!! I started reading reviews and that was a definite sign from above! Absolutely ridiculous!! Will never even look at one of their properties!

We should have walked away before ever signing a lease on with these people. There was graffiti in the garage that when I asked if they would cover, the agent acted as if I was asking for something remarkably unreasonable. The house was not well maintained and it's a shame. It could be a very cute house, but it needs a lot of work. We lived there for 2 years and asked for maintenance maybe 3 times. The first was for a broken dish washer. It took over 4 months for them to respond and replace. Then right after we renewed our lease, we lost power. While they managed to fix it faster, we still spent two days outside of our home, sleeping at friend's house (they did not compensate us in any way for this, even though the fridge wasn't working and we lost all of the food). We counted down the days for when we could leave. Two weeks after our move out date, they sent us a text asking if we were still living there; we had turned in our keys and been given a written receipt two weeks prior! And last but not least was getting our deposit back. We waited the thirty days for them to mail it and then called them to ask where it was... they hadn't mailed it. We waited one more week and called again. My roommate drove to their office and picked up the check in person. At least we got the full amount back! I can't imagine what this review would have looked like without that. Just overall, very disappointing. We loved this little house and treated it as well as we could. My roommate fixed holes that were there before we moved in, we touched up the running boards, I mean, we adored that little place. I have to leave a review that makes people STAY AWAY from these people. And if you do rent this house, talk down the price for sure.

Terrible management company. Home was not cleaned prior to moving in, as promised by their realtor, requests for a walk thru were ignored by Kim, kitchen had grease splattered all over the counters and cabinets, floors were filthy, carpets were filthy and smelled of urine, took three cleanings to get the stench out. Walls needed to be washed because of crayola marks and other child messes. There was a tv support left on the living room wall which was not needed, or wanted. Blinds were broken and strings were tied in a knot. Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. They ordered a cleaning crew a week after we moved in, which was not acceptable as we have a handicapped family member. When we moved out, they held our security deposit, and sent us a bill to ready the house for sale for the owner, charging us for things that were listed on our move in condition, or repairs that were requested but not done, Or not done correctly. They even charged us for a front door that was stuck closed from foundation shifting, and had
Us forced to go out thru the garage to push the door open from the outside. This after their handiman Sergio, had been sent out to resolve the issue earlier. Charged us for ceiling that was cracked and failing in spite of our report of the situation.

The Posey family is an unresponsive, company that lies to keep tenants security, and neglects the owners property,.

You'd do well to avoid doing business with management company, if you expect your service requests to be handled in a timely manner. Response is slow, if they come at all, and their handiman has a tendency to show up without calling ahead.

My husband and I applied for a posey property two weeks ago and called the ‘front desk’ to find out if we were the first ones to apply for the particular property and was informed that we were, which meant we were going to get the place because our credit is good, stable income and great rental history. I received an email from the “front desk” stating everything had come back and the last thing they were waiting on was a call back from our current landlord for rental reference. I immediately got in contact with current landlord and the form was sent back to their email within 1hour. At this point, I knew the approval call was coming soon. The very next day I received an email stating that they gave the apartment away because my current landlord had taken too long to respond and also my MOVE IN day wasn’t soon enough. I called the front desk and spoke to a lady and I informed her about the email and questioned her on why didn’t they call me to see if I would move my move-in date early, I told her we told our leasing agent in the beginning that we would if we had to, I also disclose to her that my current landlord emailed her the form within an hour of her email to me . I was told that “the owner had already told the next applicant they could have the place.
I sent them email informing them about the poor decision making they had made. I wondered if they were just trying to take my money; it seemed like they were never going to give me the place to begin with because the process didn’t make any sense. I had to pay for an application fee and so did my husband. Was it a money con?

I let it go, it was nothing I could do and then 3 days later I saw that this company had put the same property that I applied for back on the market. No one called me from the company to ask my husband and I if we were still interested or even to inform to us it was back on the market; this was truly a slap in the face. I called them back the following Monday to confirm if it was back on the market and the lady who answered the phone told me it was. I could not believe this happened again. I ask the lady if we could have it and she replied that she would have to “present our information to the owner”. What are you “presenting” if you have everything, you didn’t have to run our credit , check income, or rental history, because you already did that… this was puzzling .

After careful consideration, I told my husband that even though the place was nice and in our price range I didn’t want to do business with a company like that, because they had not one time to make things right but two chances. I don’t know if the lady at the front desk was holding the apartment for her friend or if the company is trying to take as many applications for one property with the intentions of not leasing the place, but something is most definitely wrong. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, be cautious.

They have managed my property for about three years. Hopefully they are better from the tenants perspective. No one knows what is going on and they have been unreliable and unresponsive. They totally dropped the ball. Find a company that is more organized and professional if you want to lease your property!

The absolute worst property management experience I've witnessed. Very unorganized, unreliable, and unresponsive. We had electrical problems from day one that were never resolved, a dishwasher that was never fixed, and other issues that took me calling several times just to get a call back. I wouldn't recommend Posey Properties to anyone and hopefully this review saves someone the headache that I experienced with Posey Properties. Worst property management company in DFW.

I'm adding a screenshot of an email to the photos. My realtor was bossy, disrespectful and disorganized. He gave me the wrong number and didn't provide any guidance about why he was telling me to call her. He even had the nerve to insinuate that I was not being honest about being pre-qualified. I sent him the approval letter days earlier ON THE SAME EMAIL THREAD as this message. I would send him info and then he would ask me for the same details later in the day. He made an offer without my go-ahead, claiming he was trying to support my tight schedule. Of course the deal fell through and he blamed it on me in another email to the title group. Horrible experience.

STAY AWAY!!! They could care less about there tenants. Don't let them tell you they will call you back, you will never hear from them. There is no emergence number for maintenance issuses, so if you have a serious issue (like sewage flooding into your house) then your on your own.
