Fast friendly service had our food out in 5 minutes. Loved the chicken fried steak with Gravy and Delicious Sweet Potato fries. Cute trendy place l 10/10 recommend

We were so impressed with this place! We were seated right away, the service was great, and the food was amazing! The menu has some really unique items on it, like elk bratwurst. The kids "bitty" burgers are quite large - like regular burgers. The atmosphere is nice. Next time we stop in Artesia, I'll definitely want to go here again.

What a fantastic little gem this is. First off our server, Angel, was just delightful. Every staff interaction was really a positive one. We mostly stopped by to try some of their beer (which is delicious by the way) but ended up getting hungry. I ordered the Southwest Quesada and my wife ordered a burger. Both food items were great. I will say my quesadilla was very greasy to the point I had to drain it before I ate it, but once I did it was fantastic. I got the Indian basin wheat, my wife ordered the 57 chevy as reccomended by our server, both were great drinks. One thing that really stuck out was how clean the restaurant was. You didn't even find a spec of dust on the light fixtures. All in all an excellent place to eat, highly reccomend. Also, give that server a raise, she is an excellent representative for this place.

Guess I missed this place back in 2007….. awesome place, Salad was good, wife loved her pasta! Daughter liked her loaded skillet potatoes and Granddaughter, and I quote:” Grandpa, this is the best Mac and Cheese ever.” End quote! If visiting the area, give it a try!

Artesia is a small town on the edge of the oil-rich Permain Basin, and The Wellhead totally embraces this. The atmosphere is composed of drill rigs, derricks, and service company signage, which is definitely different and may not appeal to everyone. The service, food, and home brews are all first rate. My waitress Tiffany was friendly, funny, and attentive without being cloying. I had the sirloin steak, which was done perfectly, tender and flavorful. They use food runners to bring out the orders quickly and efficiently. The beer was good; full bodied and hit the spot, and not overloaded with hops like some microbrews. Prices are fair - a steak dinner for $25 is a good deal anywhere. If you are in Artesia looking for some good eats, I highly recommend The Wellhead.

Cool restaurant with an oilfield theme; lots of oilfield signs and memorabilia to look at. Also the wait staff is always very prompt and helpful not to mention that the food has been great every time I've been there. They also have a good selection of beer I believe some of them they even Brew in house. But my personal favorite will always be the prime rib sandwich with sweet potato fries and a raspberry tea for the drink.

I enjoyed the tacos on Taco Tuesday. The food here is yummy and priced very fairly!

I have to say, the server on February 23rd 2021 was friendly, energetic, and attentive. Man deserves a raise. I know I will be back here this week because of him!

Awesome service and great yasting beer. We stopped in on our way through town to try Wellhead's beer. The prices for a flight and per pint were very reasonable. Our waitress was great and the beer was very good. We didn't try the food, but we saw other diners order. The food looked delicious and smelled great, too. We will definitely be back for some beer and to try the food.

Had a great salad and the BEST battered green chilis. Enjoyed the beers as well but the battered chilis are worth the trip alone.

Great restaurant and bar and grill with a brewery. Fresh Great tasting beer right from the source. One of Artesia's finest establishments. This is the best place to stop and enjoy great food and beer, in the entire state.!

Food and service are great most of the time. That being said the woman that runs the place is very rude and talks to her staff very disrespectfully. We received cold food which was the special of the day. Our waiter sent it back. It was tacos dressed with toppings and she reheated the whole plate lettuce and all. Was soggy and inedible. She berated our server and gave us attitude.

Food was a bit pricey, but what isn't nowadays. The quality of the food, and the service was great!
