Grandpa Mac

Absolutely delicious! Super friendly staff. Bathroom and dining area were very clean. We got a custom, the Fun Guy, and two kids Mac’s. All were so yummy. And the Mrs Pac Man game was free! Our kiddos loved it.

GREAT food, throwback music, excellent service my only opportunity for improvement would be the ice machine was clearly overworked in this 90+streak and protesting 😜. Which was only an issue if you were choosing one of the teas because the fountain drinks were cold but the few cubes that would kick out were immediately melted by the teas....🤷 I resorted to halfing the tea with lemonade to cool it down... which is that really a setback or a win lol 😎

Absolutely the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had, I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, everytime we go to Grandpa Mac we have a great meal and an amazing time. The staff is so friendly and high energy. Their merch is super cool and I got a shirt from there and while walking around wearing that shirt many people asked me if I'd recommend the place and my answer was ABSOLUTELY YES! I love Grandpa Mac.

Visited on a Sunday Labor Day weekend. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy at around 1pm in the afternoon. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was superb. It certainly isn't fast food. I think everything was made to order. So be prepared for that if you're in a hurry.

The food was good, but I'm not a big pasta or a Mac and cheese person. My wife and kids wanted it. I think everything tasted pretty good. The quality was there for sure. Maybe I'll try their panini or wraps next time.

We ordered regular sizes and got the mother clucking bacon ranch, delmarva dog, I'm a fun guy, and the crab Mac, which was the special for the day. I liked the I'm a fun guy the best but that's probably because of the mushrooms. My wife liked the delmarva dog and mother clucking bacon ranch. My middle son liked the crab Mac. I thought it was just okay. I'd definitely go back and try other options on the menu.

My youngest was happy with his kids' meal of chicken tenders and side of Mac and cheese. It's a pretty small cup, just FYI. But he also really enjoyed the arcade machine while we were waiting for our food.

Location was a bit weird but it's right next to one of the 3 Tanger outlet malls so it's not a bad walk over if you're looking for food while at rhe outlet mall or if you wanted to walk over after you eat to walk off some of the food.

Bathrooms were fun. They are unisex, but they're all covered in pictures of employees or customers at the restaurant. It's just weird to use the bathroom surrounded by all the photos of people staring at you. It was so unique that I told my wife and kids to check it out. Everyone had a good laugh.

Our family went to Grandpa Mac for the first time this past Sunday and loved it! They have a super impressive menu with tons of different options, a cute restaurant with kids drawing on the walls, and friendly staff. We ordered 4 things of mac and cheese plus some garlic bread and it was all delicious! I love that they have vegan options :)

Absolutely underrated gem at the beach!

It's incredibly rare to find fresh made dry pasta anywhere. Grandpa Mac serves up fresh batches every day, and everything they make is perfectly cooked and delicious. The dishes are simple, but they don't need to be complex when every ingredient is high quality and fresh.

We always stop here at least once every time we are in the area, and get something with their fresh pasta.

So good! Great gluten free pasta! My husband loved his pasta too. Yum!!!

While staying in the Lewes, Rehoboth Beach area for a quick weekend get away, a relative that lives in the area recommended Grandpa Mac for a place to eat. I'm glad they did! They have many variations of Mac and Cheese plus tasty sandwiches. Very laid back vibe with an attentive and welcoming staff. This was a definite treat for dinner. We were pleased with everything. We will definitely be back when in the area again.

THIS is *the* place to go for vegan and gluten free options!!! I am allergic to milk and gluten and I was able to get GF vegan Mac and Cheese and it was AWESOME. I loved the atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience. The staff is so incredibly kind and accommodating. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough.

We love Grandpa Macs and always have to stop if we're within a couple hours of the restaurant. Everything we have tried has been amazing. I am allergic to dairy and the staff makes sure they are careful and the vegan options are amazing. Highly recommend. We drive over 5 hours just to have them for dinner 🤷‍♀🤣 need I say more?

Been coming here for 7 years since opening almost ! I drive from Philadelphia to here anytime. The owners are just built for customer service. Sweetest kindest people alive. They put customer first, service first and quality control first. The Mac and cheese make you want to stay in the beach area anytime every time . Thank you for an amazing experience eveytime!

Excellent vegan and vegetarian options. The Veg Rehoboth and other veg sandwiches are excellent. The Mac and cheese is great, toasted on the top. Lots of sauces on the side available. The pasta salad available as a side has a kick, was A+
The overall vibe of the place is so inviting, friendly and inclusive. The artwork on the walls, seating all is great.
The staff is friendly and helpful in ordering. We stopped here on our way to the Lewes Ferry. It was an excellent choice. We will be back.

This is my partner and I’s favorite restaurant ever!! We’ve been coming to Grandpa Mac’s since it was a tiny whole in the wall on the boardwalk, they have certainly come a long way. The food is always delicious, the staff are the kindest people i’ve ever met, and the atmosphere is amazing. Every meal comes with a werther’s caramel, just like grandpa mac gave out. We love this place so much!

Great lunch at Grandpa Mac. The pasta and sides were really tasty and well cooked, it was well gratinated on the top. The man who served us was pretty nice. The only negative point was the ice tea, very over infused.

Just had our son take us here for dinner. Had a great time. Selection of Mac and cheese dishes is good without being overwhelming and there are wraps and other choices.

My wife I shared a medium eastern shore with cheese instead of the garlic oil. It was served up nice and hot with a crispy bread crumb topping and creamy cheese sauce.

We had enough left over for a small take home.

The staff was friendly and at 7 on a Thursday they weren't very busy.

Give it a try.... adults and kids both will enjoy.

Holy wow. Found this place on a whim and what a treat. Oodles of vegan options, outrageously friendly staff, and everything was just to die for. Been to a lot of restaurants over the years; this one has jumped to my go-to, best-of-the-best list. Couldn't possibly recommend Grandpa Mac highly enough. 10/10 friendly, tasty perfection.

There was a food truck set up by my local pool and the service was unbelievably amazing! On top of the food I had they gave a free order of fries with cheese dip that was outstanding!

People who have left bad reviews for this place need to get their heads checked. This place is top notch! They do one thing and do it well. I always stop here whenever I’m in Rehoboth Beach, it never disappoints.

If you’re ever there when this have their “(Big) Mac & Cheese” special, definitely get it! Basically if a Big Mac and a Stouffer’s Mac & Cheese had a baby. If any of the restaurant owners read these reviews, please add it to the menu permanently!
