I would go there again. I had to pay cash price as I don't have vision insurance, and it was in the mid range of what I would expect. The staff were friendly and I didn't have to wait long. The facility is a little run-down, but I'll accept worn carpet as long as the medical care is good. I felt like Dr. Moore answered my questions and I left feeling as though it was a satisfactory experience.

After going to 3 other eye doctors, Dr Moore successfully helped me with my double vision. She took her time and corrected any problems that came up. Her staff was also very pleasant to deal with. I drove over an hour to see her.

Dr Moore has been my ophthalmologist for many years. I believe I have seen her always at her Foulk Rd office, fortunately only for routine eye exams. First rate, professional, takes her time, I never have felt rushed, always answers my questions and explains her answers if necessary, I don't recall ever having to wait long to get in to see her.

While the doctor knows what she is doing, her staff is awful!! I walked out with my 4 year old son after one a minute of being in the office. Was very clear when the office called this month that I could not do 2:30. I explained that I would have to be back across town to get my other child from school in an hour. They assured me it would be 15 mins in and out. Arriving my son who has disabilities was fighting me at her door to come in. I seen several people waiting so I asked if they where behind. The rude clerks response well your 8 mins late and we are short staff. So not only did she have a horrible attitude, she wasted my time and my sons time in the classroom. So I will transfer all 4 of my kids elsewhere!!! This was after overlooking the first visit where her texh had fake nails about an inch long trying to pry my kids eyes open with her knuckles!!!! And the office and equipment is extremely dated compared to AI

Staff were rude and refused to apologize after stating I owe them 3 missed appointments for no call no show. I was put on a long hold and when staff came back went straight to another topic. When I enquirer about the added charges, the staff said it was a computer error. I told her she owes me an apology to which she told me to stop arguing.

I guess you didn’t get my message that I wouldn’t be coming to the appointment.
No return call, just sent me a no-show bill from Philadelphia. Please remove my name from your database. I’ll pay the $35 if it means I won’t have to deal with your office again. Thanks!

I took my mother to Christiana for a routine eye exam and had the incredible misfortune of having Dr. Moore for her physician. Although Dr. Moore did not introduce herself when she entered the room—which she should be doing as a physician—I recognized her terrible bedside manner once the exam began and confirmed it was her at check out. I saw her once myself as a teen (over two decades ago at her private practice) and was so traumatized by her that it took me years before I could go back to another ophthalmologist. If I could give her no stars, I would. That said, the support staff and residents at Christiana Ophthalmology are wonderful.

First of all, Dorothy Moore is very professional doctor. My daughter visited her with her eye problems, the experience was really wonderful. However, I’m giving 1 star because of the staff working for her. I had an appointment that I had to make 3 months before, several days before the appointment I realized it would be hard to fit in my schedule for that day, as I’ve got really important job tasks popped up. I called the office to check if they have any slots, no one answered, only voicemail. Ok, I left a message, no one called back. One day before the appointment I received a call from the office to confirm the appointment, I asked if they have any free spots. The office told only in 3 months. Ok, I decided to try to keep the appointment and squeeze it into my schedule. I was 20 mins late due to unforeseen traffic. But the office told that they couldn’t accept me, although I saw that dr. Moore didn’t have patients. Moreover, I scheduled a full time eye exam that usually does take more than 20 mins. I asked if I can wait in order to get the slot. They did a favor to get me a slot in 2 months. The office lady talks very rude, even for some simple thing like showing you the restroom. It’s just bad customer attitude. I am working woman and I ruined the total working schedule for this day to come for nothing????Weird thing that they don’t return the missed calls, how shall I reach them for reschedule or cancel? I’m thinking if I should wait 2 more months to get an “elite” service or I can get appointment following my husband’s advice at the neighboring Simon’s Eye?

Fixed my issue, but was rude, condescending, and unprofessional at every given turn. 20 minutes late for every appointment and rushes you out the door for your appointment. Total lack of respect and no people skills or manners. Avoid this office if possible.

Do not take your child here. Not sure why people are saying she’s a good doctor in some reviews but not in my opinion. Maybe for an adult, ehhh I take that back. Anyways.. she will explain NOTHING to you as she tries ripping your child’s eyes open and using old terms no one but herself understands: I wouldn’t bring my child back here if you paid me.

Cathy office staff is very rude and disrespectful for a receptionist.......they need staff with some class instead of trailer park trash working the front desk! Unprofessional!
