You can never go wrong with Helen's sausage!! The food is always fresh and hot, and the staff is always pleasant and welcoming! Overall, it's a great little breakfast spot!!!

Got Helen’s famous sausage in a sandwich and it did not disappoint. I don’t even particularly like sausages but the sausages here were amazing.

Excellent and unbelievably consistent, every single time. Remember they are closed around holidays! Get your holiday sausages before they close!

The new Newark location is also a great.option for upstate folks!

I finally got around to trying Helen’s Sausage House after hearing from so many people how good it was and reading about it in the news. So, I made the 30 min trip from home early in the morning and I was not disappointed. I got the double sausage egg and cheese and it was really good. I’m a big fan of breakfast sausage but some brands can go overboard on the seasoning, this is not the case with Helen’s, their sausage is seasoned just right… which is probably why the line can sometimes be long. Nevertheless, a five minute wait in line was worth it. The staff are super friendly and they made my food right in front of me. It is worth mentioning that they only accept cash for payment. However, they do have an ATM located in the restaurant which came in handy since I wasn’t aware of the payment restriction.

So simple but so delicious. These are the type of sausages you would make at home if you weren't so lazy. My advice is to get 2 singles with Mustard.

Get there before 11:30am! You have been warned! They turn off the grill and sell out (close) before noon. Delicious sausage on a roll... get a double with egg, cheese, and peppers/onions...add a few shakes of hot sauce... one of the best sandwiches you'll ever eat! They also sell raw sausage that you can buy and cook at home. Miss Helen does it right!

There's a reason why the lines are out the door. 😁 You won't find a better tasting sausage anywhere else. I love that "mom & pop" feel. Can we get a 3rd location in northern Middletown at Bayview Road? 😁

Helen's is an icon and is still an amazing place. Portion size is huge and the flavor is off the charts.

This place always has a line, but they get through it so fast. The double sausage with egg and cheese is my favorite and the bun is delicious. But if you're in the mood for something different their pork chop sandwiches are huge...

I don't know how I went so long without knowing about Helen's. I'm not usually a fan of sausage sammies like that but here they are amazing. ❤Don't be fooled by the unassuming building/exterior. Get a sausage on a roll with cheese and a fried egg and it is magic. The ladies at the counter are nice also, and although there is almost always a line out the door (which speaks to its awesomeness), they get orders out pretty quick, and it's worth the little wait.

As always my order of a sausage egg and cheddar with a cran grape juice was perfect. A little busy for 9 am but they clear that line super fast as always. They removed the 6 person inside rule, which I was getting used to and enjoyed. It can get a little crammed in there which is whatever. I can't complain to much. I will still prefer to drive the 40 minutes here than to the other guy that's around the corner from me but double the price.

I only get Helen’s once or twice a month, but they never disappoint. My nephew request it anytime I visit. The prices went up today but it’s worth it. Definitely try any sandwich 🥪 and you will be satisfied. The customer service is top notch. Definitely order before you arrive if you have a big order.

Yeah it looks busy all morning but they get you the best sausage in an adequate amount of time . Try the Pork chop sandwich but beware of the bone

Great comfort food when you need it most! I stopped by on my way to a job site in Sussex. The staff was taking all the necessary precautions and I was in and out in no time. Very friendly workers making sure I had everything I needed in the bag without having to rummage around with my grubby fingers. Just kidding I probably have the cleanest hands on the planet
