Been staying there ever time would visit my daughter at college always clean rooms and reliable service 🙄 and the restaurant next door is spectacular

I was really happy with the accommodations at Sunset Motor Inn. It was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The bed was probably one of the best I've been in at a hotel in a couple years! This unique hotel was really nice!

For a small town, this was a really good place to rest. I usually get sketched out by "motel" style places, but this was different. Throughly enjoyed my stay

The staff is amazing. Sherri, the manager working days, could not have been more accommodating. From the day we made reservations and all through our stay she was professional, courteous and helpful. From paper plates and plastic utensils to recommended restaurants she was spot on. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Many options for food within minutes and a very safe environment. Traveling from Florida to Vermont you come across a lot of hotels. We were lucky to find this gem. We had a lovely stay. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The room was clean and we felt safe. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped us find a few places we wanted to go to. If I ever pass through this town again I definitely will stay here a second time. One note worth mentioning is there is no complementary breakfast.

Updated! 2nd time staying. This time I was in a room with a jetted tub! That was amazing after a long drive. I got there super early in the morning but my key was waiting on me and I got into my room with no problems! A++ this stay! The room was SPOTLESS! And the mattress was amazingly comfy!
The sitting/laundry room downstairs was a nice touch. There was a lounging area with a table and games/cards. A TV, a piano, a restroom and a speed queen w/d. There is a dunkin donuts across the street. A McDonald's up the road and a gas station across the roundabout.

A gem! Clean and spacious room, a welcome relief from the chain hotels on our road trip. Beautiful outdoor pool with mountain view. Close to Stowe and surrounding areas without the high prices. Friendly and accommodating staff. Thank you!

Have been going to the Sunset for years. We have family in the area and the location is perfect, the Charlamonte is right next door...an added bonus. The price is perfect for what you get. Looking forward to our next visit.

Clean rooms, small pool on hot days, staff is very friendly. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable. Truth be told we stop here twice a year. Reasonable rates. The other visitors are nice and friendly also. Never had a bad time outside of COVID. (Didn't go during shutdown)
Skip the Charlemont next door and go toward Morrisville for good food. They are over priced and a hit or miss. Pricey.

We stayed at the Sunset Motor Inn while visiting with our daughter. We stayed in a King room which was spacious and clean. In Morrisville there are several good restaurants and also 2 breweries that have great beer.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Sunset Motor Lodge while traveling with my best friend and we were totally pleased with the accommodations.The room was compact but comfortable with wonderful beds, a nice bathroom (loved the toiletries), and good air conditioning. The room was very clean and nicely kept with a refrigerator, microwave and free wifi.Our second floor room even had a nice view of the mountains. The pool area is lovely with a screened gazebo nearby. There is a well maintained play area with seating and a picnic table. There is a lounge area for gatherings and a laundry. The Sunset Motor Lodge is a tremendous value for your money and Shari the receptionest could not be sweeter or more helpful. I am already planning my next stay with my daughter. Highly recommended!

Excellent place to rent a room.
My room was clean and very nice. There is a k cup single serve coffee maching in the room. The nice lady at the counter was so nice. U dont even need a reservation just call ahead.the only thing missing would be a bluetooth speaker system. Maybe they could include that in a few select rooms for a extra charge.

I have been staying at the sun set for many years I’m always pleased with my stay I have never had one thing to complain about rooms are very clean very comfortable staff are excellent I highly recommend the sun set prices are good I stayed here when my children were small perfect for children always have an enjoyable time now my adult children stay at sun set with there children my visit 7/29/22 was excellent I’m always treated like family when I visit the sunset inn 😊

Very nice Motorlodge. The room was large, with t.v., microwave oven, small fridge, nice coffee maker. The bath suite was a nice size, tub shower. lots of counter space.huge mirror.A very comfortable stay. Nice people. Worth trying.

Great place to stay rooms are very decent for the price and location I love It

This is a family owned hotel, the people are friendly from the office to the housekeepers. Located close to gas stations, grocery stores, hardware store, fast food and restaurants, save a lot and dollar stores. Also has a parking lot for big RV’s and trailers, easy on and off highway. Would stay there anytime we’re in the area.

Great place to stay and enjoy the experience and the staff are so awesome helpful I suggest everyone should try staying there whenever you travel through Morrisville I give this place a 100 star rating
