Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Waterbury Stowe

Beautiful location. Sneaks up on you if you're driving 50... when you see the sign for Shaw's, start to slow down and look to your left. If you're coming from Ben and Jerry's, slow down and look to the right.

Randy at the front desk was a great help, very accommodating, and answered any questions we had during our stay. After a 5 hour drive up, this was exactly what we needed upon arrival (as well as the hot tub...)

Rooms were clean, and everything was well maintained.

The hot tub and the pool were by far our favorite amenities this visit.

There is a free breakfast bar with hot food, cereal, build your own oatmeal station, pastries, tea, coffee, yogurt, juices, and many other options. Everything was tasty but get it while you can - the food goes quickly past 8am.

There is a small, limited parking garage under the location, which you can access directly from the elevators... this was so cool and helped us A TON upon checkout with speedily packing up our car.

Only con was no bathrobes or slippers - which is not a big deal and may just be location dependant. These would have been nice for moving to and from our rooms to the hot tub, but just bring some flip flops, and you'll be fine.

Overall we were very happy with everything this location had to offer, the staff was extremely pleasant, Randy was a cool dude, and the property was beautiful. This is in the perfect spot for a home base to hit all of the local attractions big and small, and we will be coming back to continue our adventures.

Simply put-this place is great. It's affordable but well kept. The location is very good but the service is what sets it apart. Randy at the from desk has been amazing. He helped us with an upgrade and then helped arranged a complex booking we made when we added an extra night because we liked the hotel and town/mountain so much. Randy made it all work-nothing is better than flexible and competent employees :-)

Delicious breakfast, kind workers, great location, clean hotel. Patio large jenga for the kids. Pretty view from the room. Would definitely return.

This hotel is in a great area, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is awesome! I travel for work and will be staying here again when I come back in this area. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a beautiful property that's located close to many popular attractions. We had a great stay and enjoyed our time.

Despite only being a "Fairfield" it has nicer rooms and facilities than many "Marriotts" I've stayed in. The free breakfast is also on par with the paid breakfast at higher end Marriott chains

The hotel was clean the the staff was friendly. I almost thought it was a new hotel until I saw the hot tub and pool. What a disappointment. Hot-tub was foamy and slimy on top. The pool looked dark and dingy. The sides and bottom of pool had big brown spotted.
Noting like the website picture showed. Marriott needs to work on this.

We were on a trip to visit Alchemist Brewing. This hotel was very close and amazingly close to other areas. Walking distance to some great Thai food that also sells Alchmys beverages. The hotel was very nice, super clean, lots of amenities. Breakfast bar was great. Hot and fresh food. Lots of fresh fruit available as well. Definitely on my list for a return trip.

Clean spacious rooms. A generous common area where kids and families would hang out. Breakfast included and some nights tacos too! About 25mins from Stowe.

LOVED staying at this location. This might be my favorite Marriott I have ever stayed at... Sure, a Westin might be fancier, but this location has a nice, clean, quiet, comfortable vibe throughout. The staff we came across were all super friendly and kind. Even breakfast had a decent spread.

Of course, the short distance to the Ben and Jerry's factory is nice too.

Stayed here while on a trip to Vermont to celebrate my 35th bday and this hotel did not disappoint. I've stayed at many fairfield properties, and this was the best one by far. The lobby alone is incredibly scenic and clean. The staff were absolutely incredible, and they had many selections for free hot breakfast each morning. The room itself was so well taken care of. I was shocked by the full kitchenette that included pots and pans, a toaster, and a hot plate, and upgrading to the fireplace was a good buy. It really added to the atmosphere and kept the room warm when temperatures dropped. The hotel.is also very close to mainstreet waterbury, the ben and Jerry's factory, and the cider mill. Give yourself some peace and serenity and stay here while in vermont.

This was a great hotel and the staff was excellent. We had mistakenly booked a king room and the staff went above and beyond to switch us to a room with two beds even though they were booked for the week. When a room suddenly opened up we were at Stowe and they moved all of our belongings to the new room for us in a neat and organized way without leaving anything behind. A bigger breakfast than other Marriotts and lots of tables to sit at. Breakfast was consistently being replenished and the whole area including tables were cleaned after every use. The location was excellent, right next to the Ben and Jerry’s factory and about 30 minutes from Stowe where we spent every day. A grocery store across the street and several others including natural food stores close by as well as take out options. Not far from Burlington with many excellent dining and shopping options also. We will definitely stay here again. With many Marriott properties the staff makes or breaks it and this was a cut above many others we have stayed at recently.

Frequent business traveler. I have stayed in Marriott properties from Maine to Virginia and all in between. This is by far the nicest Fairfield I have ever stayed at. It feels more like a four-star hotel. Property inside and out is spotless. Rooms are beautiful. A real krueig inside your room not a knock off. Staff and front desk were pleasant. Highly recommended. Some negatives. Yes you can hear people walking on the floor above which is a rarity. Maybe different construction? Wifi signal is lacking, so lacking I couldn’t watch a TV show.

This is the best hotel in Vermont! The service is impeccable, the hotel is pristine- very clean and well-maintained. The pool and hot tub are lovely. The free breakfast is wonderful with many options. They've won awards, and they deserve every one of them. The price is high, but you get what you pay for.

The rooms were gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was courteous. Will definitely stay here again. It's much better than the Hampton Inn, which is where we always stayed. Very satisfied Brianne

perfect for us in every way. location great for heading north to stowe, extremely helpful front desk(checked out on 3/2 at 3:30 pm), ample breakfast and a very tidy and quiet room on the 3rd floor rear. we celebrate you and your hotel and will definitely be back. they should all be this good and at a reasonable price.

We have enjoyed our stay here at Fairfield in Waterbury, VT. The entire staff from the front desk to housekeeping are extremely friendly. Excellent location, quite and very clean from the lobby to the guest room. Extra plus is has amazing breakfast!!!! And unlimited coffee and tea!! We will definitely come and of course highly recommend!!!

The best Fairfield Inn I’ve stayed at. The moment you walk in the door the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Beautiful lobby area with a fireplace. Housekeeping was very nice also.

Five stars across the board. Great location, seemingly remodeled rooms, breakfast was on point, great service overall including breakfast attendant, housekeeping, and front desk. We will be returning!
