Ho-Chunk RV Resort and Campground

This place is amazing. My family has been coming here for over 15 years and I've FINALLY got my own permanent spot up on the hill in the forest. My family loves this place, I love this place and all the friends that come visit tell me they want to get a spot up here too. I love it here!!!

A beautiful campground and friendly staff. The huge pond has baby ducks to watch and a short distance away is a boat launch to the Wisconsin River.

Best campground in the entire area! The people that run it and work here are the nicest and friendliest people you want to meet. Beautiful 🪵 🪵 woods.

Not a lot of details available so I will try to help everyone out. This campground has a huge number of seasonal residents that drive golf carts past the nightly rentals. The weekends are busy as such. During the week we were the only people there and it was amazing. Few things of note:
1. The drives are paved so kids bikes, scooters, any other ride is encouraged. The sites themselves are gravel.
2. The boats, the paddleboards etc. are all free to use just grab a life vest and paddle from the shop
3. Firewood and ice are real cheap. They are definitely not trying to get rich selling these items.
4. There is laundry
5. There is a game room full of board games and movies etc.
6. The pool is very large and extremely clean. There wasn't even so much as a bug in the pool. The depth is 6' which is also rare to see in a campground
7. The pool and playgrounds are a long way from the daily use sites but there is parking close by if the golf carts are not parked there
Overall this is a fantastic campground

We had a fantastic time here! The manager TJ went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. I was incredibly impressed with him and the staff.

The pull-throughs on the west side of the pond are the best with easy access to the fishing & boating pond. They are long with nice distance between spaces.

The paddle boats, canoes & kayaks are free to use in the pond. Fishing is incredible, we pulled one out on almost every cast.

Having a younger family, these things also stood out to me:

-Newer playground in sand area
-Basketball court with lowered rims
-Putt-putt golf course
-Easy access to the river for kayaking
-Large pool with shaded areas on the deck
-Nice store with food & supplies
-Friendly staff (Special thank you to Patty & Yvette)

Also, the river has a lot of private beach areas that can be reached easily with kayaks. The boat launch has good parking as well for vehicles & trailers.

A sincere thank you to TJ & staff for everything! We look forward to returning again when back in the area.

Great camp grounds all ready made plans to go back

We like a peaceful campground and a beautiful site and that’s what we got here. Very pleased and happy with our experience. Staff are friendly and laid back and everything was clean. We will definitely come back!

This place has really turned around. The pool is now very clean and very fun. The arcade was remodeled and fun for everyone to make a visit. Great place for volley ball, because it has a good court. Also, it has a beautiful, and I mean beautiful, boat launch. Overall, this establishment is wonderful and I think many people should continue visiting it.

We stayed 3 nights in a pull through spot alongside the pond. Showers and laundry were convenient and clean. Nice touch to have delivery of the fire wood we purchased. Beautiful and quiet location.

A absolutely beautiful RV park & camp ground. Great views of the pond.

I can't say enough about how great of a stay we had. Marge is great and the campsite was more than accommodating. Plenty to do, extremely spacious, and very clean. Two families, two campers, a bunch of dogs. Will definitely be back very soon!

Okay, I'm an employee of the Campground and would like to clear up a couple of reviews. But all are entitled to their own opinion. Come see for yourself what is true or false.
Yes we are approximately 20 minutes away from the casino and do not have a shuttle. Our pool is crystal clean always and heated. Not sure about the electric comment from Emma Palmer, but most of the park is 50 amp service. If you have only 30 amp in your unit, you would need an adapter, but they are NOT sold in our store. Regarding trees, we do have a few areas that do not have a lot of trees, but have plenty of areas that do.
Again come see us and check it out even if it is just a ride through the park.

Great & quiet campground

LOVE this campground so much we extended our stay. The scent of the pines and the tranquility of the area make for a perfect day outside. Clean, maintained, friendly and practicing safe covid guidelines.

All I can say is AWESOME. We drove up to check the place out and they were so nice and accommodating. We look forward to coming back!! GREAT PLACE A MUST VISIT
