Birchcliff Resort

Keep in mind that this is a rustic Cabin resort. That being said our whole family including grand kids rented 4 cabins and had a really great time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, cabins were clean as well as pool area and grounds. Fire Pits were nicely done and well stocked every day. The person in charge "Wendy" what a wonderful person. She not only moved cabins reservations around. so whole family would be close together but dealt with any situations before and end of day and always with a smile. Would definitely recommend this wonderful resort.

We just stayed here and loved it! My kids and I really enjoyed everything about the place. The staff were very kind and helpful, and always made it a point to check in and assist. It had a nice mom & pop feel to it. The area is beautiful, cabin was clean, and it was peaceful, yet not far from local attractions. We will be back!!

We loved our three day stay here. It was close to the main strip, but was tucked enough away that we had the privacy and outdoorsy experience we prefer. Everything was very clean and was exactly the right size for two people and two small dogs. I read in reviews that someone recommended we bring our own toilet paper and tissues, which we did. I would recommend this too if you are used to a higher quality paper product.

The variety of cabins available ensured that everyone had their own space, and the lodge area was a great gathering spot. The heated pool was a hit with the kids, and the nightly community campfires added to the fun.

Birchcliff Resort's welcoming ambiance and beautiful cabin provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. Our kids loved playing sports and petting the billy goats, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

My son and I came here for his spring break trip, and we both enjoyed ourselves. He enjoyed the pool so much and the goats.

We have been going to Birchcliff Resort since 1990s. Every year we made beautiful memories with the help of the owners and staff. We were there again this year after pandemic. The owner and the staff especially Wendy were very nice , helpful and accommodating. The front desk staff was very kind and smile on her face made it easier to verbalize our concerns or questions. The ground staff helped us from the first day until we left . Thank you for building more fire pits with chairs for the families to bond at night and cook s’mores.. I will highly recommend Birchcliff Resort. Thank you for all your help and outstanding services.

This place is fantastic! We were super excited for our weekend getaway. We were greeted by Wendy, who was the nicest lady. We got to the cabin, noticed the shower head was leaking. Told Wendy and immediately someone was there trying to fix it. They decided to not only move us to a different cabin, but upgraded us free of charge. Highly recommend staying here! The resort is one of a kind! :) We will be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay . Kids kept busy and it was nice having the playground and sports courts near by so the kids could have a little freedom. My biggest complaint was the overall cleanliness of the sleeping quarters. Walls and doors could use a clean down . There was a water bottle left under the bed the carpets needed vacuuming. With that being said in the resorts defense like everywhere else there is a shortage of staff. Wendy was amazing! The pool was so fun and my kids loved the goats! Can't wait to return!

Owners and staff so friendly, welcoming, and they made sure we were care of like family. Cozy, relaxing environment we enjoyed all day or ventured only 2 minutes away to the downtown Dells and attractions. Our pup and 1 year old girl had so much fun too. We stayed in a deluxe cabin, which honestly didn't seem like much from the outside, but were pleasantly surprised once inside. Everything was provided so with a quick trip for some groceries we were all set. Would highly recommend to any family or group looking for a simple family getaway with nearby options for all, too! It was just what we needed and can't wait to return.

This place was such a fun little spot. Our cabin was very clean. The grounds were well taken care of as well. My kids lived in the pool for a few days, we camp every year and this was by far the cleanest pool we’ve seen. The little petting zoo was so cute, we loved feeding the animals. The trail to the river was amazing as well! Wendy was the sweetest and so helpful!

Truly a hidden gem! Private, serene, peaceful, and very scenic. We loved the goats and walk through the woods to the beach. Wendy was extremely helpful and attentive. We had a great time and hope to stay again!

My husband Raul and I went on a weekday with our nephew and mother in lawand we had the best time ever. The best part the resort is pet friendly and we got to bring our dog who loved the petting zoo and the grounds. Clean rooms and clean pool and resort, also great staff and really friendly.Definitely we will return this summer.

What a great experience! Surprised it's listed as a "2 star" hotel. I suppose in comparison to a luxury hotel, but this is 5 star country living at it's finest with plenty of amenities.
Lots of acreage, pool, basketball, tennis, ping pong and a great hike through the woods to a nice beach on the Wisconsin River! We have been here twice and will continue to come back. Rooms are clean, staff is personable and accommodating and the owner is heavily involved in satisfaction. We rent the large lodge for our company trip which sleeps 20 comfortably and a smaller lodge for our family... both have been great thus far! We'll be back in September for the 3rd time this year.

We booked the resort for a large reunion and worked with Brian for over a year to arrange everything-having to postpone for a year secondary to covid. With all the delays that we encountered, numerous emails, texts and phone calls exchanged, everything came together without a hitch. The cabins were clean, the grounds neatly maintained by very friendly and attentive staff. Wendy, in the office was very friendly and helpful. There were a few things missing in our cabin but we asked at the office and they were quickly provided. I would recommend the resort to anyone and return myself!

This resort was awesome, great atmosphere, lovely grounds. But most importantly the best and most accommodating staff. Wendy the manager made our check in and everything so smoothe and pleasant. Joe was an absolute pleasure every encounter was super cheerful and friendly. He made every effort to make sure our vacation stay was enjoyable. Thank you staff..we will definitely be back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Birchcliff. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with leaves turning. The cabin was clean and perfect for our family group. Thank you for a fun-filled fall getaway!!🍁🍂

Loved staying here. The customer service from the very first phone call to inquire to check out was excellent. We stayed in a duplex cabin. We loved the peaceful setting and the space the cabin provided verses a typical hotel room. We all slept so sound and long that we couldn't believe it. The kids, 9 & 10, enjoyed petting the goats and donkey. There's a nice trail to walk, although we didn't have enough time to find the beach. It's close to the downtown area and only a few minutes from the major theme parks. We'd love to come back and stay there again.

The staff was wonderfull and helpful. The animals in the petting zoo were adorable and very happy. The staff had a fire burning early in the evening, we were supplied with with enough wood to enjoy the fire well into the night. The cabins all appeared to be full, and yet it was quiet. We slept well and really enjoyed the extra room in the cabin and the large covered porch. We will definitely rent the cabins again!!

The hospitality that Birchcliff offers is amazing! Sydney took our reservations and was very accommodating and so friendly! Once we arrived, Wendy greeted us and was so friendly! I felt like I was talking to a dear friend while Wendy assisted us. My bf and I asked for an upgrade and she went above and beyond to honor our request. It's only our first night here and I'm so excited to be here the rest of the weekend! Happy Memorial Day!!! ❤🇱🇷❤
