Hoozels at The Lakes

Great place, people and food! Had dinner on 02.08.2024 and our server, Sophie, took great care of us. Food was delicious and service is top notch! Also, stopped back in late on 02.10.2024 as Abbie was closing up and she took one for the team and served us one for the road. You can't find this everywhere folks, but you can find it here at Hoozels!

Not enough good words can be said about the service we had. It was a very busy Memorial Day weekend and they said it was going to be about an hour wait but we were seated within 25 minutes. The appetizers and food came all perfectly spaced apart and the drinks were absolutely delicious. Definitely a place you should visit

We enjoyed the food, the drinks and the hospitality of the owners, Casey and Meagan. The waitress and bartender were outstanding. Great stop when traveling to the Black River Falls area. We stayed here as Harvest Host members. Yes, we would definitely stop again!!

Staff was friendly. The fish specials, Hoozles punch, and bloody were all really good. I loved all the stuff that came with the bloody. Good price too. If it would have had a slider it would be the perfect afternoon snack. Good atmosphere and nice and open. Looking forward to the live bands.

Great waitresses, great atmosphere. Watched the Packers win the Cowboys here!!!

First time visiting Hoozels at The Lakes since they opened. Nice atmosphere and clean looking design. I ordered the Bloody Mary and was not disappointed. Great taste and condiments. For lunch I had the chicken sandwich with fries and the chicken was perfect with not a sign of gristle. Waitstaff was personable and efficient.

This is a regular hang out for us! Great bands all throughout the summer and they really draw a crowd. They also have a bar outside and were selling beer by the bottles in buckets of ice.
Oh and the food is good as well!

The new owners continue to exceed at this place. The food is quite good from fried curds and pickles to Friday night fish fry and a good beer selection. They have improved the outdoor music venue by getting rid of the picnic tables of old and having comfortable chairs and tables. Nice place. A little packed in indoors but hard to turn away business. They could probably use a little indoor expansion.

Gosh this place is awesome! Visited on a busy Saturday night in the summer (the place was hoppin!) and was seated right away with our kids. Server (Leah) was super attentive, got drinks and apps for us right away. Great menu, tons of options (highly recommend the killer pretzel!) and everything came out hot and yummy to us. These guys are doing everything right! Will definitely be back, thanks for taking care of us :-)

Went on a Friday around 6:00 30ish minute late for table for 4 people. The place was super busy. We got fish fry, kids meal, burger. Food took a long time. We had waited for the server to come to the table, wait for our drinks, wait for food, and wait for the bill. We left at 8:22... it felt long, but again, it was Friday night, and it was busy. Just be prepared to wait. All food came out hot and was correct. Fish fry was good. You get lots fries. Pass on the coleslaw. Do get the giant pretzel...my boys loved it.

Our Server was phenomenal, the food was delicious. We will definitely go back. Very good. 👍

Food was good, mostly typical for a fish fry, they had bluegill which my wife enjoyed a lot, good beer selections, service was excellent. I like their aluminum trays and plates

Squealer is amazing awesome sauce also had the asada tacos was very happy with that meal as well staff was bissy and polite

Took grandson on UTV ride stopped here for a break. On the trail good food. He loved the mini corn dogs

Food and service were superb. Try the jumbo pretzel! Soft like Italian bread with a pretzel outside. In all, a good experience. We will be back.

We came here for breakfast with my granddaughter. Staff was super friendly, coffee delicious and food amazing! I had the sausage and biscuits and my friend had the cinnamon French toast. Both were phenomenal!

Thank you Hoozels for a great dinner and beer. The burgers AND pizzas are the best in Rome! Abby is a friendly and professional bartender and the entire experience was perfect. Can't wait to go back many times!

Very busy place, so you know the food and drinks must be good! We were so happy to see the place under new management! We missed our neighborhood bar! Can't wait to see what "new" adventures wait ahead! FYI...try the bloody mary!

Me and 8 other friends were at this bar 2 days in a row! This place is awesome! Wait staff was amazing! Food was great too! The owners were very nice! I fully expect to be back here in the summer! Can’t wait! Thank you guys for your hospitality! See you all very soon!
