Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast

Shane and his dog Max were both incredible hosts and made our time in the Dells all the better. The Garden Cottage was very cozy and beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. My wife and I are definitely planning on coming back and would easily recommend Oak Hill B&B to anyone looking to stay near the Dells or just escaping for a getaway.

This was a trip so well needed, the accommodations and breakfast was just spot on and delicious. I loved the fact this B&B was away from the hustle and bustle but yet also close to the main strip to the dells. Russ and Laurie were very accommodating to your requests. There suggestions to restaurants and things to do was perfect. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I also really appreciated it was set back from the main road and it was a wooded view. If we could of, we would of stayed another day. All in all, our stay was great and I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

We stayed in the lovely b and b for 2 nights. Russ and Laurie were both knowledgeable about the areas and gave suggestions for 2 restaurants that we visited while here. Their hospitality and thoughtfulness were evident in all aspects of our stay. The breakfasts were beyond words....it was mouth watering and ample portions. We would most certainly recommend their home to you. We would stay here again when in the Dells!

Well for starters this was our first time trying a Bed &
Breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. The hospitality made us feel like we were at home and with family. Our host Shane was an absolute buttercup of a sweetheart. From the second we arrived he naturally treated us with so much hospitality and with the utmost concern for our comfort. He checked with our schedule to make sure the bonfire was lit when we arrived back home. (did I just call it home lol) Snacks and beverages were always stocked. The beds and rooms were so comfy. There were so many little things I didn't mention but he was always accommodating our stay.He greeted us with a handshake and we left giving hugs. Definitely our go to spot when visiting the Dells or just to get away. Thanks again Shane for everything!

This B&B made our anniversary perfect. Great place at good price!

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Cottage for our 2nd anniversary. It was small and private, but still larger than most hotel rooms. Nancy and David thought of everything when furnishing the cottage and we didn't need to ask for anything. And it was immaculately clean! The cottage included all the small stuff like fancy water and wine glasses, cork screw bottle opener, homemade treats, small coffee maker, robes, and small TV for if it's raining.

The breakfast was delicious too. We stayed 2 night and enjoyed both breakfasts the next morning. I'm not sure what to call each dish, but they were gourmet pieces of art. I really enjoyed that they put extra effort into presentation.

Nancy and David were extremely friendly and gave us great tips on what to see at the Dells. It was very convenient to jet out for dinner or waterparks since they are so close to the down town Dells area. We had so much fun meeting them, we are recommending all our family and friends go stay at Bowman's Oak Hill B&B!

It was my first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast place, we were looking for a place to stay and my friend found it online. We truly felt like a well taken care guest, Shane went above and beyond with his hospitality, ensuring we felt super comfortable. It’s the perfect location out in the country, yet close to the main strip. I will definitely be staying there again next time I go to the Dells. I felt like at home. Thanks again Shane for everything!

We stayed for 3 days in Gracie's Garden Room and everything was amazing. Laurie and Russ were fantastic hosts and very friendly. Homemade breakfast every morning was delicious and even some desserts to snack on throughout the day. One of us is celiac and Laurie was extremely accommodating to ensure she was still able to eat the same foods as everybody else. You don't find that anywhere--most places will just give fruit or salad rather than try to make gluten free food. She even made some gluten free cookies. The landscape was great too--we really wish we could have stayed another day just enjoying some time out on the patio.

Pros:
* Very accomodating
* Clean room
* Bed was extremely comfortable
* Jacuzzi tub was relaxing
* Fantastic food (and huge portions!)
* Very clean plates and silverware
* Great location away from the chaos of the dells but still less than a 5 minute drive
* Website accurately displayed the B&B

Cons:
* The pillows were too large and fluffy for a stomach sleeper, but that's just a personal preference. I usually sleep with a very thin pillow.
* Internet is slow and almost no signal on the far side of the room, but we weren't there to spend time online so it was good enough when we needed to look something up.

Amazing, bargin for the price. Russ and Laurie are very hospitable and have plenty of stories to tell. Breakfast is delicious and it's not light, come ready to eat. We stayed in the garden room, it was comfortable, cozy, and clean. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the Dells area.

Cleanest dishes and neatest lawn you will ever find close to the Dells. It was overall an awesome experience despite never being at a bed and breakfast before. Russ and Laurie both ensure you're as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is the best. If we ever get the chance we'll be back again.

My husband, son and I stayed at the Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights the first weekend in August 2017. We were welcomed by warm and friendly hosts. Russ and Laurie made us feel right at home. The house, our room and bathroom were clean and quite comfortable. They took care of our every need from the moment we arrived! Honestly, breakfast each morning was nothing like we've ever had before.....the food (homemade recipes) stimulating conversations, and eloquent table setting spoiled us for sure! They even honored a request from us to eat breakfast an hour and a half earlier than they had planned in order to accommodate our schedule to visit a few more final attractions in the Dells before we left town! We will definitely be back!!!

PS - As someone who also loves to cook, I just had to ask Laurie for the recipe for the Raspberry-Rhubarb Crisp we devoured....Hmmm

From checking in to the breakfast in the morning to the check out experience everything was wonderful! My girlfriend and I stayed at the Bowman Garden Cabin and it was everything that was pictured and so much more. In the afternoon the brought us snacks. It was very private and felt like it was our own cabin in the woods. I can't wait to go back next year!

Inviting, peaceful, lovely rooms and perfect breakfasts! The Bowman's are wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. Their rooms are spotless and spacious. Their full and balanced breakfasts are perfect for beginning a busy day of sight-seeing, hiking, or exploring the beautiful Wisconsin Dells. Conveniently located, near Baraboo and the Dells' "touristy" area. We've visited the Bowman's twice and are looking forward to our next visit.

Comfy place, easy to get to from all the Dells attractions but tucked away just enough to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Our hosts were very helpful and we enjoyed our conversations over breakfast, which was absolutely wonderful! Would definitely visit again next time we're in town.

Very nice room with serene forest setting far enough away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Dells to be quiet but still just a 5-10 minute drive from the action. They currently aren’t doing communal breakfast because of the pandemic but went out of they’re way to compensate for that with lots of snacks. Thinking about going back in the fall.

Had a great getaway with my wife Cindy at Bowman's!! The cottage was very cozy and comfortable, the breakfast generous, delicious and well presented and the hosts Russ and Laurie very gracious. Very relaxing and refreshing!!

Last minute get away. The accommodation were fantastic , Russ and Laurie were wonderful host. Lauries pancakes were amazing and Russ did a great job washing dishes.
We will be going back in the fall.

I have been to this B&B hotel for three times within 5 years. It’s by far the best B&B experience I have ever had. The host and hostess are extremely nice and helpful, and no one can beat the breakfast they prepare for the guests every morning. There is no doubt I will go back there to stay again if I am ever in Wisconsin Dells area.

This place was awesome. The host was super friendly and helpful. It was extremely convenient to the Dells. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I can't wait to stay here again. We stayed in one of the guest rooms in the house.

We had a great stay at Bowman's Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast. The morning coffee and conversations with Russ and Laurie were great. Laurie's breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend.
