Juneau County Wilderness Park

Spacious sites, park was clean and well maintained. Many sites, beautiful views of the water and are just a few feet from the shoreline! Showers are nice but do require 25 cents...

Great place to camp with friends and family. Clean campground. Not too loud at night. Everyone is super friendly and the camp hosts are, too. The bathrooms have clean showers that are reasonably priced. I have been going every year for the past 6 years. I would reccomend to those that love the outdoors, lakes, beaches, and fishing!

This is a quiet, clean, and well maintained campground. The staff and host were very polite and helpful 👍 The bugs weren't bad either for this time of year. During our stay there was a nice breeze from the west and also off the lake, which kept us comfortable.
There is also a nice park on-site which our son really enjoyed using. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back again 🙂

Great place to camp and relax. Quiet, well maintained and clean. The park staff are superb, well informed, friendly and hard workers. The only drawback is they are sadly understaffed. The county needs to hire more people, each staffer is doing the work of at least 3 other people.

Love this place. Sites are big. Showers and bathrooms are always clean. And you can't beat the view.

This place was absolutely beautiful! I loved the big camping spaces, the beach, friendly staff( accommodating too!) I only wish that there was water hook up. Our holding tank isn't very large. Lol Definitely going to be a repeat trip here!

Great location, beautiful views, and a great site host made this a spectacular weekend. What a gem!! To top it off someone placed small hand painted rocks throughout the camp grounds. Possible a family project. What a fun discovery. One that kept us on the lookout all weekend long. Also the firewood available is split oak. Not all parks offer this type. Usually pine or other less desirable types. Will make this a yearly destination.

Very much enjoyed our stay! The management was very nice and was working hard to keep everything clean and running smoothly!

We had a wonderful time at this park last month. The staff and host went above and beyond to help us find the perfect sites for our stay and checked in to see if we were enjoying ourselves. All of the facilities were very clean and the sites were so big and accommodating. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

Camped here 5 years in a row! Excellent fishing, swimming, boating opportunities. Staff is friendly, to a point, but I'm not there to be pandered to. Yes there are quite hours, camper sites allow two tents or one camper one tent. All fees are non refundable, which is stated on your registration form. If the heat makes you sick, may I suggest a hotel.

This is a clean, quiet campground. It's a great place to go to just relax. It has a small beach area, the only drawback for older folks is that it is steep to walk down to the water's edge. Nice lake views, and forested areas.

Great park and well maintained! If you're lucky enough to get a site closer to the lake, you won't get many bugs nor will temperature be much of an issue. It was in the high 90s during my visit but the breeze made it bearable.

Quiet, clean campground! No frills but that's what we like. Great playground. Fantastic water views. They delivered firewood to our site (prepaid for). All in all, our go to place to camp.

Excellent sites right off the water lead to amazing sunrises and sunsets! Adequate number of bathrooms and above average shower facilities. Boat launch in the park. All hiking trails connect and vary in length.

This is a great place to camp! Most of the spots are surrounded by trees on 3 sides, quiet and secluded. The campsites are well maintained. The hiking trails are long and beautiful!

Love it most stays. Last time though they could have cut the grass. It was memorial day weekend... come on guys. The mosquitos were so bad. But every other time great experience.
