Prairie Hawk Winery

This is one of our favorite spots when we are near the Dells. We have always been greeted warmly by the owner and staff. I have tasted every wine available and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend you give it a try!

Great Place. Very relaxing beautiful setting. There isn't a wine that we tasted we didn't like Owner and staff are beyond friendly.

Great winery to taste at. The owners are passionate about what they do, which shows in how friendly they are and the quality wine they produce! A great patio view adds to the atmosphere as well.

Off season so casual and fun wine tasting. Richard was wonderful - and we had a good variety of dry to sweet options. He also had Wassail and Gluhein available. Great stop and we all left we something to enjoy at home

I met Richard at Hy-Vee tonight at his wine booth. He had two different warm, spiced wines he was sampling. I am absolutely not a wine person by any means but the wine was fantastic! I left with his last two bottles. And Richard is a very nice gentleman.

This is a very nice smaller winery. The two gentlemen who own it were very welcoming and interesting to talk with. They have a nice patio to sit & relax on and enjoy the tastings and/or a glass of their wines. They also have a pretty tasting room that accommodates 6-8 people. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the fun afternoon.

Super friendly staff. Great wines and we really fell in love with their Cabernet Sauvignon. While we were at the winery last fall, we are just now enjoying a bottle of that Cab that we bought during our visit and WOW it is so good... made us realize we had not done a review and Prairie Hawk absolutely deserves a 5 star review. Now we need to plan another visit to replenish our Cab supply.

Great time! Great band! Good fun! Great conversation! Better than average locally produced wine. Not into fruit wines or mead. But tried all of the varietals. My wife enjoyed the Chardonnay while I appreciated the Merlot. Limited food. But the food complimented the wine selections very well. Stopped for a sample and stayed 5 hours. I would recommend this place without reservation.

Beautiful winery out in a quiet wooded area. Staff was friendly and great selection of wine for tasting.
Tasting room is smaller seating only 6-8 at a time. However, there's an amazing patio to sit at and enjoy a great glass of wine!

Awesome Winery! Small and quaint with great service. The owners were very knowledgeable about their wine. I'm not a Merlot drinker but ended up going home with two of their barrel aged merlot's. We'll be back for sure!

Quick drive from the Woodside Sports Complex and Chula Vista Resort. "Friendly" isn't a strong enough word for the owners and staff. They made us feel so welcomed and were genuinely happy that we were there. Prices were shockingly affordable and by-the-glass pours were generous. We even tried a sip of everything on the menu before deciding. Cute outdoor patio for seating. Light snacks available, including Wisconsin cheese. Such a fun experience. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely visit again!

Really nice staff! The weather was beautiful and it was a great evening to laugh and relax on the amazing patio. I went home with some bottles of wine (my personal favorite was the Sangria) and a smile on my face.

Out of the way and worth the trip. Gentleman who served us was very friendly. Very nice wines. Relaxful area for tasting and enjoying a fall afternoon.

They are the most friendly people ever. Homely and so welcoming. The wine was absolutely exceptional. Will definitely be back next summer. Cant wait for that shiraz and the grenache coming out next year!

Found this place and fell in love with it. The wine is amazing, in addition to the setting out in the country feel. The owner and employees aim to please. definitely a must stop, when in Wisconsin.
