Blackhawk County Park

Really nice spot to stop in for a break. Nice folks. Too windy to really fish but good scenery and nice quiet break from the day

One of my favorite places to visit in the summer!

This is the best spot to go camping fishing and meeting new people. The park rangers here are so nice. The showers are fantastic. The swimming hole is a good spot to take the kids and have a beach day.you can put the boat in have a blast out on the river. If I could I would rate this place 10/5 stars.

Beautiful park to bring your family. Several play areas for kids. Lots of benches along the shore of the Mississippi for fishing or just sitting and taking in nature. Nice pavilions you can reserve for parties. There's grills and running water by most of them. We spend alot of time here. It's very well keep.

We love this area great fishing Great Outdoor Experience lots of good stuff to do in the summer months the park rangers usually put on an educational mini seminar for the kids on Saturdays and usually there's a movie night too on the weekends very affordable camping on the public side the showers are great usually very clean

Nice camping areas. Restroom and shower facilities were very well kept.

Beautiful on the Mississippi river

I have went here ever since i was able to walk. I love going here because its so beautiful and the people are great. Beautiful veiw of the Mississippi. Just amazing. Would definitely recommend going atleast once to see the sights

Very peaceful beautiful park. Picnic tables and fireplaces at camping sites. Well maintained and clean. Nice to be near river.

cleanest bathrooms and showers then any other campground, i’ve camped at!! park is beautiful, and very well maintained.

Fantastic fireworks 7.28.2018. I was there with Wheatland Fire Department. Fire/EMS everything went off without a problem.

Clean well taken care of and friendly park staff

We like this park a lot. Quiet with easy access and parking the rv's.

Great family campground, especially for those who love water, boating, fishing, watching nature.

Lots of room, plenty of fishing, campers tent , patroled, beach,clean, kid friendly, old people friendly, lol.
