Super 8 by Wyndham Portage

I go between Mpls and Chicago often. Stay at many different Super 8. Two days ago, because of pouring rain, I went to the closest Super 8 and it happened to be at Portage, even though it's still 6 miles away from 90/94. What a present surprise! Friendly service and staff at check in. And it has everything updated. All the switches and lights are updated to modern standard. Will stay there again on future trips.

I totally recommend this hotel.. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and comfy beds. The room has a microwave and a mini fridge, coffee maker and a blower dryer. A lot of fast food restaurants are within walking distance. Clinic close by and a Walmart. I love it here.

They have clean room the service was so great the breakfast was good not just oj and cereal had alot of different things to eat they allow dogs here too no smoke inside but it's easy to get outside.. will come back here and tell my friends and family passing through...Thank you very much..

Great place to spend a night with family. Nice staff, convenient location close to walmart KFC aldis etc for quick grocery or food shopping.

We got two rooms one handicapped one regular double occupancy. The handicap room met Ada guidelines. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing that I can knock is the toilet. It was a normal height toilet not handicapped. I could get into the shower with no problem and we really enjoyed our stay there

Excellent staff. The rooms were top notch for a super8. High marks for the cleaning staff.
The breakfast was very good.
The beds were comfortable and fresh smelling.
The only complaint I have is that the guest laundry dryer did not work properly.
Other than that 5 stars

They checked me in just before midnight on new years eve. Got me a first floor room cause I'm disabled. Service was great and room was very clean n beautiful.

Guests frequently ask about pet policy. While we accept dogs with a $15 fee per night, cats and other pets are not included in our pet acceptance policies. Please note, many travel booking sites mark it as "Pet Friendly". This is true, but ONLY dogs.

We had a great time staying at hotel. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and breakfast was yummy. And the price was good also. If you are in town and have a limited budget this must be your preference.

Very nice location. Plenty of parking for semi trucks. Convenient too shopping and food. Very clean rooms, hot water was perfect for a shower. The beds are a lil hard but I prefer a softer bed my preference. Overall one of the best stays I've had at any hotels for the price. Shootout too Renee in house keeping

Perfect for business traveling/short stay for adults - my #1 pick when working in the area because it's quiet, rooms are very clean & spacious, have coffee pot, small refrigerator, microwave, TV/cable/wifi & comfortable beds. Nice breakfast- (depending on latest Covid "advisory".. but they still offered clean, available healthy am options 👍)
Also- located among full variety of dining & stores providing all amenities.

This was a nice location and the workers were very friendly! Breakfast was nice and the rooms were quite. Saved us lots of money to stay here instead of the Dells!

Room originally assigned to us wasn't ready so the GM upgraded us to a King room with no additional fees. The room was clean and the bed was especially soft and clean. Food was good and fresh. The only complaint my husband and I can say was the toilet was always running due to a bad seal.

Great place to stay ! Clean rooms ! Staff are always so accommodating and friendly . They will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your stay ! Keep up the great work guys , and thank you for always making me feel right at home when I'm there ! ❤❤

Very happy with this place. Wifi works great, its quiet, everything it up to date, clean, modern. Doesnt smell like weed or cigs. The rates are cheap too. I was surprised to find everything so well kept. Good job management/staff! Keep up the good work.

Super 8 Portage was a great location to stay! Much better than some of the other options in the Dells. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and check-in/out painless. I would absolutely recommend it and stay again!

Pleasantly surprised. The rooms were noce and updated and clean. The sheets and beds better than I expected for the price. Breakfast was just ok with waffles, cereal, yogurt but not much else.

This Property and Staff was Great!!
We had an issue after I booked the reservation...when I click on the link for Portage Wisconsin it automatically took me to the Super 8 in Portage Indiana.I wasn't aware of this till
we arrived late in the day Friday to check in. Inadvertently I made had made our reservation in Portage, Indiana... unaware of the flaw in the Google link. Untill my husband and I arrived at Super 8 Portage, Wisconsin and they Did Not have a reservation for us! This Motel was also fully booked. Being a holiday weekend every place was around was booked fully too. We were stranded after a Long Days Motorcycle Ride in 90° temperatures.
Debra Graves the general manager for the Portage WI Super 8 Was Wonderful. She figured out a way to accommodate us with a room for two nights at this Hotel. And Matched the price for the that we're had Been Quoted in Indian. She also took the steps to make sure we were not charged for the mis-booking in Portage Indiana Super 8.
Fabulous Customer Sevice. Clean Hotel, good showers, updated fixtures and decor, Friendly Staff, and a Great Location. They also had Yummy Biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, hot fresh coffee, ECT.. on the continental breakfast. Everything was fresh and well-stocked. I will definitely make this my go to property when I'm in that area again.

Always nice to stay here. They have room for big trucks and campers. There rooms are clean and everyone is friendly.
