What a wonderful diner! Delicious food. I had the Southwest Skillet and husband had Irish Skillet. Son had eggs, pancakes and homemade cinnamon roll. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and taste. Most diners provide the basics and feel it’s enough. This restaurant goes the extra mile with a very diverse menu. It is definitely authentic Mexican for certain items, alongside traditional favorites but with something extra. It is obvious the menu was created by someone who loves food and understands we want more than the basics even at a diner. I was really pleased with the thought put into the eclectic and cozy vibe in the decor! Will definitely be back when in the area!

Classic small town diner with a great menu. My wife had a mushroom and cheese omelet. I had the MaMa Cita Burger which had onion straws, ham and a sweet ans dour sauce. Very good. Be sure to have the beer batter fries.

Super cute small diner with great food and very friendly staff. The restaurant itself could use a little more room inside but it's very quaint. The prices are very reasonable and comparable to some fast food like culvers but I would say the quality is much better.

Best place to go for a meal. 6am til 2pm (That is understatement) located in Cottage Grove in a tiny spot that resembles the old fashion eatery.
Has the old fashion services from experienced waitress and you get a good amount of food for you pay. Highly highly recommend!! ❤❤

Nestled into a strip mall with a rough parking lot and a dollar general, one would not expect a restaurant to be this warm and inviting on the inside, but here it is! This place is appropriately named - how can you not feel at home? The service and patrons were friendly alike while the food was really quite good and priced competitively. We’ll be repeat customers when in the area!

At this point my fiance and I have had just about everything on the menu. Everything we have had has always been the best version of it. Their biscuits and gravy is out of this world. Cinnamon rolls are so good they have become my appetizer for every meal. My fiance loves the la patrona and southwest skillets. They are all the best at their craft and the friendliest most welcoming people you can come across. I can't recommend this place highly enough, do yourself a service and experience it first hand!

Stopped in for a early lunch. Place was pretty full, but we found a empty booth. The staff was friendly and helpful. The booths and menus are clean. The food was good, and I also tried the cinnamon roll. After talking to the waitress the cinnamon roll could’ve been a little bit more warmer. Overall experience was good.

This is a great little diner. Good food and a great wait staff. I am able to get some gluten free options there and have never had any issues after eating there.

This is a diamond in the rough. It has the small town feel so many places just don’t have anymore but it’s GENUINE. The food is delicious and the portions are more than adequate. Very engaging staff/ownership and their pride in their craft can be tasted in each bite of food. Excellent rapport with all of their regulars and just as friendly to someone walking in the door the first time. I make it a point to stop in for a waffle and some hashbrowns whenever I’m in the area…. And might I just suggest that if you are too full from your meal to get dessert, grab a cinnamon roll to go!

After a catering snafu this week for work which our lunch was not delivered. I called Kozy Nuk Cafe and they were able get together 30 tacos (prime rib and chicken tacos ) and also a few special orders due to allergies all within 15-20 minutes.

Thank you to the kitchen staff for busting our this order so quickly with precision and deliciousness!

Food is top notch. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was the best I’ve ever had. Servers are always ready to help and very friendly. Will definitely be back for more!

Great little diner. The food was fabulous, and the service was great.

Excellent little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I went here with a group and it took a few minutes before the staff could put some tables together, but they were very friendly and helpful with that. Our food was great, and they were able to handle some tweaks for some of our eaters with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite cozy. All in all, if I lived in the area, I would probably eat here regularly.

I just happened upon this gem of a restaurant! I ran in to see if I could get a coffee to go and ended up staying for gluten free waffles! Jennifer was the first to greet me as I came in and the owners, Meggan and Adan are creating something special with this new restaurant! (I believe Meggan said they have only been open since 9/1/22). I can't wait to come back....again and again and again. Los gofres están muy deliciosos. Este es mi nuevo lugar favorito. Buena comida y gente! (The waffles are delicious. This is my new favorite place. Good food and people. Thank you!) Next thing I'm going to try is their walleye and egg breakfast, which they can make for me gluten free.

I had a comforting meal at Kozy Nuk Cafe. Nothing fancy but hit the spot. Everything was clean, place was steady, service was great. I recommend.

I discovered totally enjoyable Irish Benedict, perfectly cooked eggs, good coffee, flavourful marbled rye toast.

Group of 15 for 8 am breakfast. Had a small kozy seperate room. Service was friendly and quick. Food was right off the grill and excellent.

Great fish!! I had the fried cod with fries & it was some of the best fish fry I've had in a long time! The staff was very friendly & attentive. The signage on the bldg could be better so you can see it from the street, but other than that, I'd highly recommend a visit if you're looking for tasty, simple food at a local spot.
