My girlfriend and I went there for breakfast this morning. The service and food were both excellent. We will definitely eat here again! Lots of items on the menu that I'm excited to try!

So this is to the people who say we don’t wear masks nor sanitize! Specifically @Brian Heinz /NOBODY is REQUIRED to wear a mask. If we felt as though it weren’t safe or we were showing ANY symptoms, we WOULD NOT come to work! Not that ANY of us need to explain ourselves, but since people tend to make assumptions, here I am explaining myself. We have 3 waitor/waitresses with health conditions such as asthma (breathing conditions are more difficult than usual). We do, in fact, sanitize our tables AND menus once our customers leave. Unless you think we should clean your table while you’re sitting at it, then we can make some adjustments :) After we, the employees, handle the money at the cash register, we go to the back, which you cannot see, and we have hand sanitizer which we do in fact use because we do care about our loved ones. We live with 10 others, and take serious precautions when it’s necessary!1 Fortunately, none of us have tested positive so obviously we’re doing something right! We also have SEVERAL sink hand-washing stations which we use! I personally think the food is great! I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu, and there was nothing I haven’t been satisfied with. And as for the service being “slow,” you must’ve been here on one of our busier days. Not that it’s any of your concern, but it does get busy, especially in the mornings, but since there is a global pandemic, like you mentioned, it typically isn’t as busy as it usually is! We treat all our customers with respect and we wouldn’t do it any other way! Our whole family has been running businesses for over 50 years, so we know how to do things around here the right way! ;) I may only be 16, but i’ve been working and helping out ever since I started to crawl! :) I suggest you come take another shot at The New Hollywood and we will give you AMAZING service! :)) HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :)

My mom and love this place, we actually go almost every week. We have always had good wait staff, good food, and prices vs portions are good. Highly recommend eating there

They were super nice and put up with our weird requests. So friendly and the food was very good. My sister is in love with the fries. 😆

Mine and my boyfriends favorite breakfast date place. The waitress is always stretched so thin, but she still does a GREAT job. It’s a very homey environment, and a different selection of omelettes than most places in portage.

Business was steady, but not crowded. Was seated right away. Food was good. One had a Veggie skillet and the other had two eggs, hash browns, bacon. Our servers were polite and checked on us three times.

Food is great!! My wife is picky lol... Cabbage soup was homemade and phenomenal!! Mashed potatoes are fresh and homemade!! Roasted chicken is great and my wife's Reuben is totally extraordinary! We will eat here again! Pricing was where it should be! Not high at all! You're going to get a fresh quality meal!

My wife and I ate there today 1-17-21 for breakfast. BEST OMELETTE AND PANCAKES EVER!!! Coffee was just PERFECT!! Waitress was off the chain fast!!! I will come back for many more times to come 👍👍👍. Owner was VERY FRIENDLY ALSO😊😊😊

Try the Eggs Benedict and please please please do yourself a favor and get the hashbrowns! So tasty. 😍

The food is excellent. Not cookie cutter prep either. They will personalize anything on the menu. And if you go there more than once a month, hayley will even remember your order. Maybe not your name, but she will remember your order. Tell her Howie sent you.

Excellent service!!!!!! Great fish fry!!!!!! Good price!!!!!!!!! All the way around very happy!!!!!! Catered and respected my kids!!!!!! This other reviews I see make no sense. I felt that everything was super clean and they kept their distance when serving us. They really went the extra mile!!!!! Yes you can dine in too!!! Loved it. We will be back!!!!!

The t-bone steak was absolutely perfect you could cut it with a fork the eggs were great just like them and my cup of coffee was always full the staff was friendly

Delicious food and Friendly atmosphere . And if you're there at breakfast time but don't want breakfast food you can have any other item on the menu.

Went for lunch and we had limited time in our schedules the food was excellent and quite fast we were actually early to our appointment

Good food, friendly wait staff, clean, reasonably priced and breakfast served all day, my favorite. Small town feel for a big appetite.
