Little Italy

We enjoyed our lunch at Little Italy. I had the salmon fillet salad. The portion was generous and the salmon was perfectly cooked. My husband had the lasagna, and said it was good. He loved the fresh bread and olive oil for dipping. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. She made us fresh, hot coffee which was excellent. I need to eat gluten free and was happy to see there were several good options for me.

The salmon salad is excellent, and so is a lasagna. You have to try this place. Like family ❤❤
Back again.. this is a great place to eat. Really good food good atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

I just love this place. Had some new dishes. Daisy was a beautiful waitress. She is kind and makes you feel like family. 😁 This is a must if you are in Portage.

What a wonderful option for portage!!! Loved the chicken parm - you can really tell the sauce is authentic, homemade sauce! Bruschetta was also delicious, could just use a little more balsamic glaze ;) (but I’m always one to want more sauce). Homemade ranch dressing was also delicious! Our waitress was so attentive and accommodating and a delight (didn’t catch her name, but she has a 5yo son). The owner also came at the end to see how the meal was. Overall, a wonderful experience (which feels so rare these days!) and we are looking forward to returning & enjoying their patio!

We decided to come here tonight for our late Valentine’s dinner. Everything was so delicious and the service was excellent. I was so happy that they have gluten free options; as I have celiac disease. Char was our waitress and she was very nice. We will definitely be going back. We would recommend going here to all our family and friends.

I have eaten in a lot of restaurants in Chicago and Little Italy could be right in the middle of Chicago's finest! I would seek it out and forever go in!
The food is absolutely 💯 authentic. The atmosphere is absolutely 💯 perfection. The decor is done with such great taste and the bathroom is spectacular.
The servers are friendly know the food and are very attentive.
I have ordered out and the packaging is put together so well. No spillage.
The owner is ALWAYS friendly, big beautiful smile and approaches the table to ask if all is okay

We love the relaxing atmosphere of Little Italy. Only wish we had found this place sooner. The food is delicious and our waitress Daisy was delightful. She was attentive, prompt and made our dining experience great. Had a great night and we will be back.

Nice decor, great service, excellent food. First time there to celebrate our 58th anniversary. It won't be the last time. Lots of food and wonderful desert. The drinks were excellent too! The waitress was kind enough to take our picture. A wonderful experience.

Fantastic location! AMAZING food! Everything was speedy and our server, Daisy, was really nice! Definitely THE fine dining spot of Portage. We will be back soon!! Get the spinach artichoke dip!

Loved the atmosphere and music right way. Waiter was very pleasant. Owner made us feel at home. Food was delicious! Even the bathrooms were decorated so nice!!

Incredibly happy with our visit here! We went for my sweet 16 birthday dinner this evening, and were more than pleased with the service, food, etc. My father mentioned my birthday once during conversation in front of our waitress, and they surprised me with a beautiful birthday desert on the house! Much love to all of them, and I thank them for making my birthday even more special! <33

A hidden gem in Portage! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the ambiance and excellent service. The wine menu is ample as are the food offerings. You will be tempted to eat A LOT of the bread as it is warm and crusty and beautifully seasoned. However, be sure to save room for your entree. Anything served with the marinara is delicious! For dessert we indulged in a retro fave, cherries jubilee. So good! There's no need to go to Madison for a lovely dinner out; just stop by Little Italy!

each time I've been there, they have been so hospitable and sweet. I love their minestrone. They have a veal pasta dish that tops the charts. They make great sauces. really vibing with the wine selection too.

Great food and decent pricing for Italian. We ordered the baked artichoke dip and that was definitely a highlight. Bread is homemade and delicious. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara as my entre and really enjoyed it. Service was very friendly and on point.

If you cannot fly to Italy, fly to the Little Italy in Portage for Italian Food. The ambiance is top notch! The food is spectacular, from the appetizers to entrees, dessert everything is fantastic! Delicious Italian Sodas too! Come and try!

What a wonderful option for Portage, as they offer a steak option as well as pasta. Our waiter Joe was knowledgeable about the dishes and made recommendations based upon my needs. Our new go to place for sure!

Beautiful Restaraunt. Food was excellent! Staff was very attentive and kind, even took our picture for us. I definitely recommend.

Our experience could hardly have been better. The food was amazing and the service was great. The atmosphere is even more appealing than in the photos, by far. My wife had chicken alfredo while I had a mixed seafood dish. Had only $3 for a Caesar salad with homemade dressing and croutons, we were very happy with this small town restaurant.

It’s our go-to date night location. Great wine, great pizza, great service, lovely atmosphere. Delicious dessert options. Portage is lucky to have this place.
