Lakeside Bar & Grill

I like to make a trip up to the Lake Wisconsin/River area once or twice a summer. I used to go to the Thirsty Moose, but have been disappointed. Decided to give the Lakeside a try again. I was with my elderly mom and her friend and they both have canes. The staff was super sweet and helpful with getting them safely to their table. Our waitress also asked for extra help from one of the other staff and she went to the salad bar (my says - “excellent old fashioned salad bar! ) for my mom and her friend. As you can imagine it’s hard to negotiate a salad bar when you walk with a cane.
We all had the fish fry and it was excellent! My mom and I were allowed to have half baked and half fried. which was really a treat. We also had cheese curds as a appetizer (indulgent) and they were fantastic.
You can’t beat the view and eating outside on the patio is just like being at a friends house.
The staff was courteous and kind and I was super impressed! We will definitely return. Thank you!

The scenery and the service was definitely worth going back in itself. I really wouldn’t mind trying some of the dinner options. It should also be noted that the lakeside bar and grill is also overly welcoming to dogs!

We had a great dining experience at Lakeside. Nancy was a very good waitress, the old fashions were well to my liking & the fish fry was everything I hoped for. My gf had the fish tacos & she said they were very good. The view of the river was beautiful too. We'll definitely be back!!

Awesome place, but owners need to be more appreciative of their long-term patrons, or they will lose them. Referrals are what keep any business going!!

We have been here a few times and always love it. You cannot beat the view of Lake Wisconsin and the surrounding hills.

I was our first time visiting, and it was excellent. Party of 5 adults. Place was cleaned, food was delicious, the view was spectacular. Nic was very nice, and introduced us to delicious cheese curds. Also, Chloe was so good to us, and accommodating all our needs regarding our food. She is very patient, kind and polite. We also want to say thank you to the chef for delicious meals. We really recommend this place, go and check it out for yourself.

Food is good and the drinks are reasonably priced. Ordered the cheeseburger and it was amazing! Locals are nice and make friendly conversation. Lots of brandys available for your selection in a perfectly made old fashioned.

The family and I fantastic lunch out here! The price was good, and the food was even better. You also couldn’t ask for a better waitress than Molly, who was so kind and helpful!

Wow!! Haven’t been here in 3 years! I can’t boast enough how the food has changed! For the better! Had the taco salad, sooo good!! Husband had the French dip which is only on Wednesdays fyi 😗 and was amazing! 5 + stars for us! Thank you Lakeside!

If yr looking for an easy going pub stop on the lake, this place nails it. Dining is nothing fancy (think banquet chairs and wood paneling), but is spacious, good bar menu variety and timely. If u have a drink and embrace the local charm, it could feel like a supper club.
