Small but cozy cafe, rich decors, always busy, it is a popular cafe. The red and white waffle is tasty.

Indie might be my new favorite little spot. My dogs name is Indie, so I used this as an excuse to pick Indie coffee ha ha- when i tell you this is the best vegetarian breakfast sandwich i’ve ever had in madison… it has goat cheese, eggs, roasted red pepper, and pesto and the flavors are everything. the lavender honey latte hit the spot. we took our goodies with us on a picnic and it really topped off our morning!

I got a seasonal latte which was nice and light. The cranberry + walnut waffle was delicious. Nice space and great service.

My favorite coffee shop in Madison! I have a severe gluten allergy and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable, and made me a breakfast sandwich with a gluten free bagel in the oven instead of the panini press to avoid cross contamination. The coffee is incredible and if you can manage to get a table, the environment is awesome.

It's crowded, loud, and cramped. I have no idea why anyone would want to actually spend time here. That said the actual food and drinks are amazing. Iced Americano and/or Green Eggs & Ham sandwich have saved me on many occasions.

Pro Tip: Call ahead or order online.

We were in the area, and came in as a family to get some drinks to go. Our kids ordered smoothies which they found were really good, the strawberry banana and the orange mango. We ended up getting some iced coffees to go, and they were good. Coffee's came pretty quickly. Place had some open seating, but it was pretty full for a Saturday morning. The patio in the back only had a few people, so there was some room back there. The employees were really friendly and helpful.

Indie Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops/brunch spots in Madison. I first started coming here in college and I keep coming back because it’s just so good. Great waffles, tasty breakfast sandwiches, and unique seasonal coffees as well!

The environment and staff are amazing. Quick and everyone smiles. I stop here on my walk to work and am always amazed. The staff are happy. The shop is clean and warm. The coffee is simply divine. Whoever owns this shop should be congratulated, this is how you run a bussiness. Kudos. ❤

We went here Saturday mid morning and it was filled inside with customers. A table opened up while we ordered. We received our coffee drinks and sandwiches quickly and quickly we devoured them. The customer service was also attentive and accommodating. I would recommend this place for relaxing and enjoying your coffee and food or getting it to go.

Super tasty coffee shop with lots of bakery goods and menu items. I got a pesto breakfast sandwich on focaccia which was great and a latte. In comparison to a bunch of other coffee shops in Madison, not the most exciting ambience (i.e- not the best place for a first coffee date or meet-up), but def made up for in food and coffee, lattes that is ☺

Super cute, awesome food, and huge coffee for the price (large was like $9 and must have been 20oz). Staff was incredibly friendly!

Amazing.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their product. They have unique and considered breakfast specialties. There is a small patio in the back. Indie Coffee is unique without being pretentious. The prices are reasonable, unlike many "boutique" restaurant/cafes. Indie coffee has a refreshingly welcoming environment.

This "attitude" is reflected in the quality of customers they attract.

I wish I had wandered this way during my first week in Madison and not on my last week in Madison.

Very covid-safe experience and well worth trying. Among my favorite coffee shops in the campus area and some of the best waffles I've ever had. Beautiful vintage exterior and aesthetic. Would reccomend glancing at their online menu prior to ordering.

The Ham + Havarti I got this morning was every bit as good as the ones I made 15 years ago.

I like this quaint coffee shop on Regent street. Their Honey Fig + Goat Cheese Sandwich is amazing, though a little expensive. I love the waffles with Walnuts and Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce. They are pretty popular and are really busy whenever I go there. Overall I would definitely recommend this coffee shop for their waffles and sandwiches.

Wonderful coffee, baristas and service! Can't go wrong with the Indie House Blend or the cold brew! Definitely worth stopping by and its earned its place on the top 15 best college coffee shops list in the nation.

Terrific sandwiches and delicious espresso make this a tiny gem on Regent Street. Check out the courtyard in the back if the weather cooperate.

I had honey fig goat cheese sandwich with amazingly fresh raisin bread! Would definitely be back when I come visit again!
