Great coffee shop with vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Strong coffee taste and nice cappuccinos, flat whites. The staffs are amazing.

Needed a place to work when visiting Madison. This coffee shop not only had delicious drinks, but their sandwiches are amazing, too. The staff was very friendly. I got all my work done in the cozy, relaxed environment.

A cozy coffee shop, nice to hangout with friends or a second office for working at home persons. This is a great place for me to be a long-term customer. Espresso quality is normally very good (look at my pictures 😉)

I've been coming to this Colectivo location since they first opened and have never been dissapoined. Or reference, I've had their cappuccino, flavored lattes, teas, bowls, burritos, and pastries - all are great and the ingredients are always fresh. For example, I had the Baja bowl today with eggs and guacamole and it tasted as if it was made 30 seconds before serving. The atmosphere is also 👌 with a 50/50 mix of people working and socializing. Music isn't too loud either. Great all around.

Collectivo's coffee is the best in the entire Madison area. I buy their bags of Blue Heeler to have at home too. Amazing!

I like to visit different coffee shops, but it’s hard not to keep coming back to the best one. Good food for lunch, great coffee options, open later than other places with great Wi-Fi. Personally love the Cappuccino and garden goddess salad on multigrain

A pleasant surprise to run into this coffee shop by accident - lovely chicken soup that had been made with some TLC, nice pastries that could only be improved by the option of reheating them before serving. Nice blended smoothies that weren't too sweet, and good coffee.

The space had really nice ambiance and despite how full it was, it didn't feel loud or noisy, and could have been a good study/work space - and some were, indeed, using it that way.

I was here in late October, but clearly the windowed-area becomes a pleasant open-air porch in summer. Hope to re-visit in better weather when I'm next in town. :)

NOW featuring six regular vegan baked goods ** every single day ** from Troubadour bakery!! Colectivo (out of Milwaukee) roasts my favorite coffee in Wisconsin, and for a while now they have featured several vegan breakfast and lunch items from the kitchen. They have a delicious sweet potato and kale bowl, a Chia oatmeal power bowl, a falafel sandwich, and a couple veggie sandwiches that can be made vegan, sourdough and bagels that are also vegan. They also offer and soy milk and other non-dairy options to go with their excellent coffee, cappuccino and espresso offerings. They also always have one two three vegan smoothies available. Lunch items come with green salad, fruit or chips, and there are always options in the cooler to take away, like their hummus wrap and mixed fruit, juices etc. But the addition of the bakery items has really put this place over the top for me, and now it is one of my favorite spots in Madison. I am here several times a week, and not just because I work a block away. :-) The Morning Glory muffin is so moist, and filling. Three of either of the oatmeal protein bites will fill you up all morning if you add a piece of fruit... The cranberry almond bar is absolutely TO DIE FOR, and is so juicy and buttery - it is like a tart cherry pie. I haven't tried the caramel tahini bar or the ginger cream cookie sandwich yet, but I am prepared to swoon when that happens. All of the vegan bakery items are also gluten free! I believe the bread they serve is from Madison sourdough. Everything I have had here is absolutely delicious. So much to choose from for breakfast or lunch. Open early to late.

I particularly like this Colectivo; they have a fireplace! Also, they have a ton of different roasted coffee with roast dates on the packages, quite a selection of pastries and cafe fare, and a creative variety of different drinks. The location is big enough that you will likely be able to find somewhere to sit. They have lovely garage door windows all around. Tip: bring your own mug and get 25 cents off!

Colectivo is one of my favorite coffee providers in Madison, and the Monroe St. location is probably my most favorite location. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here, and their coffee is on point. Wether it’s a latte, some breakfast, or just some black coffee, you won’t be disappointed. I recommend grabbing some beans while you’re here to make coffee when you’re at home. Such good quality.

This is a great place to grab a coffee to go or stay to enjoy the coffee shop atmosphere. The staff was well-versed in all things coffee. I purchased a lovely whole bean Ethiopia for my home machine.
There are gluten free options marked on the menu. I did not see anything really keto specific, but as helpful as staff was, I expect they could come up with something.

I had a French Roast lighter coffee. Was rather strong by my tastes, & I've been told I prefer stronger than average cup of coffee. The dark roast was Burundi, an African blended variety, quite strong I was told by manager, who served me & took my order at the cashier station. I had a Roasted Chicken Chipotle Sandwich:

It was absolutely delicious, perfect balance of spice, sweet red cabbage and mildly flavored pickles. Mayonnaise was perfect amount for flavor, moist texture, without sloppy & falling apart condition.
It all held together perfectly, & lightly toasted bread was perfect finish to superlative presentation.

Atmosphere was warm, sunny, & welcoming. Very busy when we went, that's sure sign it's got great food & beverages.

Service was prompt enough & order was ready/called out to me at our table in less than 5 minutes. All completely within range for good service & great food/coffee.

I gave 25% tip for excellent service & quality menu items. Fresh, tasty & balanced sandwich menu made mandatory that I give 5 stars of 5 for overall rating.

My friend enjoyed his pastry & coffee, & we stayed several hrs chatting, as usual for our exchanges. Nobody was hurrying us out of the place, even though rather busy. Very inviting atmosphere & I'd highly recommend to anyone for quality of menu & atmosphere, airy and bright. Will return in future & try other menu items.

The staff are always so friendly :) I personally recommend the Salmon Sandwich, Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Almond Cake. I'm not even a fan of nuts but the chocolate almond cake is fantastically rich and gluten free! My boyfriend highly recommends the coffee.

This is one of my favorite coffee places in Madison! I love the energy of the people that work there, and the food/drinks are always made very well. I reccomend the Chipptle Chicken sandwich!

Oh my!! I hand out lots of 5 stars, but I'd go 7 or 8 out of 5 here!! They carry several plant based items that are spectacular!! And their drink options are almost too many, if you can't quench your thirst here, your thirst may just be unquenchable.

The atmosphere of this Colectivo is casual in the most beautiful way possible. I love the design, and the vibe is energetic but not loud or overwhelming. Blue Heeler is my favorite coffee blend - it's all the flavor without the bitterness. Unless you like your drinks particularly sweet, I'd recommend asking for half sweet if you order a syrup. I ordered the baked oatmeal with coconut milk, but I imagine most items on the menu are just as fresh and tasty. If I had one negative comment, it's that it was difficult to find seating because the shop was full.

One of the frustrations i have in Madison is places not really having hours that cater to early risers like me, usually having to wait until 7:30 or 8:00 for a coffee. Colectivo hours are consistent daily, great ambience, and food is delicious. I had a generic latte with a veggie pesto burrito. An easy, hearty endorsement :)

The staff were helpful and funny, pastries delicious, and the specialty coffee options n point!
