Friendly and extremely helpful staff while purchasing my new bike. Any questions I had they were quick to help and guide me in the right direction.

From start to finish this was such a super easy and enjoyable process. The owner is hands on and personally reached out to me witch was a really nice touch. I live in Seattle and they handled the shipping and packaging like real professionals. I could not be any happier, this bike was a hard one to find, and they not only had the bike, but at an excellent price too. A real class act, I will be for sure recommending them to any and all. They went above and beyond, communication was excellent, thank you guys so much!

We bought our bikes at Wheel and Sprocket a few months ago. We had amazing service, especially compared to other bike shops in the area. We recently came in for help with a flat tire, and the staff was friendly and helpful yet again, particularly Dave, who helped us out with replacing the tube.

The Fitchburg Wheel and Sprocket is hands down the best bicycle shop I have worked with in a long time. Their staff is amazing. I'm always greeted when I walk in - even if they are with other customers, they come over to tell me they will help me as soon as they are available. When I'm just looking, they let me know that they will check back in a while and they always do. Their service tech is my favorite. I was having issues with the brakes on my 2002 Gary Fisher Sugar right before a big ride and my first race. I was nervous that the repair would take a while but they fit my bike the same day to make sure I was ready for my ride. I brought it back two days later because the brake felt just a little off, and I mean it was just a little bit off - I know I was being very picky. The service tech didn't hesitate to throw it back up in the stand and adjust it until it was just right for me. Again, same day service. I was so happy with how my brakes felt during my race the following weekend. While the was fixing my bike, we chatted about new bikes that I am interested in. The tech made a bike recommendation and I was so surprised because it was the exact bike I had been looking at online the night before. He went on to talk about all the features of my current bike and how this new bike would be a great upgrade to the things I love about my old Gary Fisher. I can't think of a better example of a tech/sales person listening and assessing a customer needs and making a great recommendation. I was so thrilled with my experience that I insisted my husband take his bike in for a tune up. I was so happy to have the same service tech when we dropped it off. I agreed with his assessment of what needed to be replaced on the bike and am looking forward to having my husband pick it up its ready.

I brought my family here to look at bikes. I know hardly anything about bikes so don’t worry if you aren’t a pro, the guys here will answer any questions and treat you with respect. I first met Dave, who set me up with a specific hybrid bike that my bad back could handle. Super nice guy, very humble and knowledgeable and he let me take the bike out for a test ride. I ended up buying it because I liked it that much. After riding it once at home, there was a clicking sound it was making and shifting would sometimes throw the chain off and I was very concerned. I brought it back in and spoke to Jacorian, who it turns out is some sort of magician with bikes and also a really cool and friendly guy. Jacorian knew exactly what to do with the bike, fixed it on the spot, did a little test ride, and then explained to me his findings. It was actually really cool to see how he works and how passionate he is at his craft. My bike just needed some tightening in certain places and minor adjustments. After that, the bike was a solid ride and I hit the trail later that day. In truth, I was skeptical of how good the service here would be, but in the end, I was so impressed and happy with the result that I bought the 3 year Gold service plan. To the guys in the shop, maybe it’s just another easy quick fix, but for someone like me, it really made my day. Now I can just go ride and know my bike is in good hands. Keep up the great service guys! I appreciate it!

I needed to ship my bike from Fitchburg to Cody Wyoming on very short notice. Edwin and his staff dropped what they were doing and made it happen. Everything when exactly as planned and my 600 mile bike tour was a huge success thank guys

Best, most knowledgeable and friendly staff. We were looking for a bike path and I believe his name was Dave, was so incredibly helpful. Did not have to be so helpful but went out of his way. Very grateful for his help!

I have had three bikes spruced up at Fitchburg Cycles. I have never had better service anywhere I have shopped for anything. Everyone who helped me went above and beyond what I needed. Today Dan even helped me properly mount my bike on my Thule. Thanks to you all!

Just an update four years later ... continues to be one of my favorite bike shops in town. They almost always have the parts I need, and that convenience is huge. All the other stuff below is still true!

These guys are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - excellent mechanics. They have done very minor things for free, and have been very reasonable for paid repairs, and have very prompt turnaround. Prices in the shop are very reasonable, and better than some of the other local options.

Extremely helpful and friendly. The staff deserve a big shout-out. I went to find some shoes and they were awesome. The shoe selection isn't massive but if they don't have what you're looking for they are happy to order it. I will be back for any other bicycle needs

Cassandra was awesome. She helped me when I wondered in looking for a bike for my son. I bought the bike and a Yakima hitch rack. She made sure the brand new bike was given a final check-up before it left the store. And she walked me through getting the rack setup ensuring I was comfortable with the process. She even threw some grease on my hitch mount to keep things clean. Thanks again!

We bought two bikes here, and the service was great. These people really know bikes. They have a nice maintenance plan and tuned up our bikes for free so that they were ready to go this spring. They do excellent repairs, too. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. We plan to get my son's bike there, too.

Great experience buying my first brand-new road bike, which was a very specific model I had a very hard time finding. They even helped me finish assembling my bike rack and installed my bottle cage. Will do business with them again, despite living 3 hours away. Still totally worth it.

Excellent purchasing and set-up experience. VERY knowledgeable staff and quite helpful with my new bike set-up. Also, gave me a GREAT purchase price. Facility is clean, well organized and "user-friendly" for browsing and hands-on trying items out. Convenient location too right off a main thorough-fare.

This is a good bike shop. It's big, well stocked and the employees are helpful and friendly. It makes a big difference when you walk into a business and it seems like everyone there is enjoying what they do. I got a great deal on a new road bike from them and I had them do some work on another bike in the past. Both times this shop has impressed me. Highly recommended.

After a long weekend of research online, I finally decided to spend a good chunk of change on a new bike. Unfortunately, the model that I wanted is scarce worldwide due to covid-19 and all that has gone with it in the bike industry. Strangely, a deep google search led me to Fitchburg Cycles' webstore which listed the exact model that I wanted. Amazingly, this place was only 85 miles from my house. I immediately bought the bike, sight unseen, and wrote a small note in the "notes" field at online checkout that I wanted to test it out for proper fit, since I never had actually seen the item in person. This was Sunday night at 7:30. About 20 minutes later, my phone rang, and the guy on the other line was the shop owner, Edwin, who was working late and received my order and wanted to touch base about my purchase. He helped assure me - after getting some info about the reasoning behind my purchase - that my choice was indeed a good one for what I was after. This was, mind you, after I had already paid for the bike. You just don't get customer service like that much anymore.

Two days later, I picked up the bike at the shop - an hour and a half away from my house. The staff was courteous and helpful and allowed me to ride on the bike path behind the shop to be sure I felt comfortable with my new ride.

Though the shop is a decent drive away from my house, I will be back, and my wife will likely purchase her next bike from the folks at Fitchburg Cycles. I highly recommend them

Absolutely love this shop! They have an amazing selection of bikes to choose from and have a customer service team that is the best I have seen. The employees are passionate and give you an honest opinion about the bike you are looking for. I bought my carbon road bike from here and the employees helped me through the entire process when it came to choosing the best bike and fitting the bike to my liking.
