Snowtrekker Tents

This snow trekker tent saved our lives. There were four of us in a hunting party for the first rifle season in Colorado this year and we walked back in the mountains to our site a few days before the season opener. Unfortunately, we were walking in during a snow storm and got lost due to deteriorating weather conditions. We had been walking all day with llamas in tow and it was getting dark rapidly. Needless to say we were not dressed for the conditions due to the walk in and my brother was suffering from hypothermia; as we all were after 9 hours in the weather. The ease of this tent to set up and get us out of the elements was amazing. In the dark and cold myself and my cousin were able to get the tent up in minutes. We got my brother in the tent and in sleeping bags to warm up. After 30 mins he was no longer in danger. The tent that we were using was the Divide series boondock tent. The tent is simplified for these conditions and it made a difference. I can honestly say if we had to fool around with a bunch of poles that were different sizes and a complicated tent design this story may have ended poorly for us. I just want to thank snow trekker and wilderness ridge llamas for coming up with an amazing tent design. Again, I really feel this tent saved our lives that night. Thank you.

Literally a life-changing purchase. Winter used to be something to merely tolerate, now I can't wait for it. Quality, design, and not least customer service is second to none, and using this tent brings a smile to my face every time.

I've owned 3 snowtrekker tents. Each has had it's own purpose and each had been made with amazing attention to detail. They really are the gold standard that other winter hot canvas tents strive to live up to. When I've upgraded in the past I've sold my tents on the marketplace for only 100 or so cheaper than I've bought it for and had buyers within a day or two tops. They hold their value and are very sought after. I haven't even touched on the amazing experiences I've had in my tent. There are endless experiences I could mention, but you should just buy one and make your own experiences. With all that said, the owners are just stand up individuals. They're worth every cent.

I have not received my tent as of yet, so my review is purely based on the amazing service I received from Jonah at Snowtrekker. Jonah answered all my questions in a very timely manner, was super helpful in helping me pick a tent and spent time with me answering all my questions. I had a bump in the road with shipping (not his fault at all) and he went above and beyond to take care of me. Love my Snowtrekker tent. I have an 8x10 basecamp tent and it is an awesome 2 person setup. Plenty of space for 2 people, a stove, and gear. Got out in it some last year and it was winter camping redefined. Great design. Perfect blend of weight and durability.

Bombproof! I do several trips a year in my 8 x 8 solo. Fast pitch time which is key in a harsh environment. Snowtrekker for life!
