Very solid coffeehouse with a diverse selection of vegan pastries on offer. Excellent choice for any vegans travelling through the area!

I'm puzzled to see another reviewer claim that the place is cash-only. That is incorrect. I remember I managed to pay with... I think it was PayPal. A little unusual, and it took me a second to arrange that, but definitely not strictly cash-only.

I love this coffee shop so much! I love the art that’s always changing and their drinks are some of my favorite. Everything has intention from the way the baked goods are packaged, to where the coffee and tea come from, and the art that they decorate the shop with. I would recommend anyone to come here. It’s also the best place to study at. The tea and coffee are very affordable :)

This was a nice coffee shop with good options for vegan pastries and other snacks. The donuts and drinks were tasty. It was also cool to be able to pick up some supplies here in the grocery section. I picked up a bag of raisins, but there was honestly a good selection for this small of a place.

One of the most perfect days started with a stop here! On our way biking to Olbrich, we popped into Mother Fool's for some danishes and tea. I love vegan baked goods so it was exciting seeing a whole display case suitable for me! The matcha and chai latte s were also delicious with oat milk. I loved the very DIY vibe of the place. They take cash and PayPal, but no cards. They have a great mural above the door, make sure to check it out while you're there!

If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop with a great atmosphere, this is the place. It's a perfect place to chill if you're just looking to hang out. It's great for studying. It's great for meeting with friends. The baristas are wonderful, the bakery items are vegan and DELICIOUS. Cedar, in particular, is so unbelievably friendly and good with faces that they can pretty much recognize someone within the 2nd visit and does such a wonderful job with barista-ing. You get to strike up a chat while your drink is being made and just what a wonderful way to start your visit here.

If you're looking for a lovely vegan Cafe with both coffee and bakery choices, I highly recommend here! Casey is also a bonus!

Stellar coffee!! One of those rare cups that make you go 'aaaaah'.... Lovely, comfortable ambiance. We found a sofa to do work. All the desserts are vegan. I can't ask for more.

Mother Fool's is my very favorite coffee spot. Love the vibe and the staff members are all very friendly. My favorite thing is that all the bakery items are vegan. Don't forget to bring cash!

A Madison gem located on Willy street. Fantastic coffee and one of the homey-est atmospheres I have experienced in this city, greatly due to the barista Casey.

Great little coffee shop. I met up with a friend here awhile a go and got some very yummy matcha drink (latte I think?) & a vanilla donut. 😋 would recommend.

Such a sweet place to grab some coffee on Willy St. The guy usually working is very kind, and my americanos are always delightful.

I was very impressed with the coffee and the knowledge of the owner when I picked his brain. I only drink decaf lattes and so many coffee shops burn their decaf. It was perfection here! In addition, I tasted my boyfriend's regular (black) coffee and it tasted fantastic! Coffee is typically bitter but the coffee here is not bitter. It's amazing and my all time favorite coffee shop. Sadly, I live nearly 2 hours away. I will for sure go back when I visit Madison again!

What a cool little coffee shop. I love the eclectic decor and the friendly vibes. Great selection of drinks and snacks. They host really awesome events like storytelling and poetry at times as well. Service is friendly and fast.

A cafe featuring an eclectic vibe, cool music, attentive service, and nice warm drinks - the turmeric ginger tea is a perfect winter treat. Seems like a great community spot and they have some artistic diversions/a book to flip through up by the counter. Cool place.

I love this place! Good coffee, chill atmosphere, and usually they have good music too! The music is not too loud it's distracting but also not so quiet you can't enjoy it. They have vegan baked good which are really yummy. This place also have a strong community feel; people are so nice there! Mother Fool's is definitely one of the best coffee shops in town.

Mother Fool's Coffeeshop has been around for as long as I lived in Madison. I finally came here with one of my friends mid-morning on a saturday. There were ample seats and there was a lot of natural lighting. there is art all around by local artists. The drinks are phenomenal and the bakery is as well. The barista working was super helpful and nice :)

Love the vibe and the dairy-free coffee drinks. They always have some cool art going on inside. Note that they’re cash only!
