This is the sort of cafe you hope to find when you try a local cafe. Unique. Tasty. Good vibes. It can get quite busy at prime time but is still a great hang out spot. Food is good but it is more of a coffee/drink spot with food than a true brunch place. Has decaf options and parking in the back. I'm not a knitter so I can't speak to the rest but it looks really nice. a favorite spot of mine overall!

My mom and I went to the Goodwill across the street and needed a quick bite and some coffee when we got done and noted this place across the street. We were pleasantly surprised at our find! The May coffee specials were SO GOOD. I got the beet and feta salad and it was great! My mom ordered the mushroom and spinach quiche. The flavor was excellent but it seemed a bit undercooked and was very soggy and fell apart. It may have been because it was close to the end if the day or just an off day. Either way, the coffee drinks and salad were so good we will still be back to give them another try! Lots of space for working or knitting inside and out! Great little spot!

I love The Sow’s Ear so much. It feels a bit like home to me. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have an incredible in store selection, but I love that they have even more available online so you can almost always find what you want. I love having a comfortable place to escape to and knit and snack and drink coffee.

This is such a cute little neighborhood shop. I highly recommend it. The food was excellent as well as the bakery goods. And they have an adorable little store. Everyone here is super nice. We had a great time. Super family friendly.

Update 05/2023
This is one ofy favorite spots in the country. Yeah, it's like that. Chill, friendly, comfortable, what a good cafe should be. Good food, good look, good drink. They customized my sandwich for me, made me hot tea at the end of the day... Man I'm telling y'all, if you haven't been, you need to check them out

This spot is fantastic. I didn't really want coffee but turning down their brew is quite difficult! I got a Turkish latte which was simply breathtakingly good.
This little spot is perfect for a quick grab of some great food. Their soup today was a green chili corn chowder. It smelled so amazing I forgot to take a pic of it. Their Madison melt is a crispy yet not tooth breaking crusty sandwich with the right amount of cheese. I flipped out the mustard for bacon jam and it killed. I'm not into knitting, but if that's your thing then eating and knitting is available here! Definitely try their teas too as those are a lighter hit vs the coffee but still fantastic. I relish eating here and I'm so glad they've survived the pandemic!

We were passing through, and decided to stop to get some coffees to go. It was National yarn day, and it was awesome to see all of the people outside behind the shop creating these amazing pieces with yarn. Some crocheting, some knitting. When going inside, the place wasn't busy at all. We got our drinks within minutes, and we're on our way. The employee behind the counter was very nice. Ended up getting a white chocolate mocha- iced, and it was so good. Would go back again if we are traveling in the area. It was neat to see that part of the place was a coffee house, the other part was a yarn store. They also had a variety of food options as well, but didn't stay long to check that out.

This one of my favorite places in the community. The staff are helpful, approachable, and kind. As a knitter, I love the strong community of fiber artists. I also love their food and beverages. I have been a customer since at least 2009 and I will continue to come back

I came in last month for a morning meal and some work time using the free wi-fi. I had just a reasonably-sized cold brew coffee and a muffin that was appropriately priced. There's a lot of yarn in here. The muffin was good and the coffee tasted just like Gramma used to make (before the accident, that is). The only downside was that some lady hassled me while I was in the restroom (knocking aggressively on the door), though I assume this was not an employee. I stayed an extra few minutes in there due to her rudeness. I'd recommend this charming place to anyone who like coffee and/or yarn.

Great little coffeeshop! We ate there most mornings. Good hot chocolate, and my hubby liked their coffee better than Alice Goods. Quiches are good, too

Absolutely my favorite coffee shop. Local coffee and pastries. Great quiche and yarn. Wonderful place to sit and spend time with friends or by yourself. The baristas learn your name and recognize regulars. Love love love this place.

Great iced latte. Wonderful service both in cafe and yarn shop. Was able to get specific help and questions answered regarding yarn weights and advantages of different fibers. Excited to come back and try their food and to of course buy more yarn!

1,000 stars is what The Sow’s Ear deserves. I have only been there once; however I learned everything I needed to know to make my recommendation. Phenomenal art, knowledgeable and extremely helpful baristas. I had the most perfect, well balanced, flavorful, 16oz, zombie espresso shot added, matcha latte. Don’t know what that is? I didn’t either. They taught me about the ingredients and helped me make the perfect order for me. I even bought two miniature painting magnets there; and the artist&employee/owner? is equally brilliant and sophisticated. I can see that in the art. Thank you. p.s. get the pain au chocolat. Best ever.

Our party of 3 came in on a Fall Saturday morning for breakfast. A vegetarian quiche and salad, oatmeal with nuts/seeds, and a club were ordered. The side salad with the quiche was perfectly dressed with a vinaigrette that added the best flavor to the greens. The oatmeal came in an overfilled, large mug warm and creamy and the club had a twist with a bacon jam in perfectly toasted bun. Warm seasonal beverages were ordered and honestly just ok. The food was the real winner. If I lived in the area I would be a frequent visitor.

Just a sweet, well-run coffee shop, one of the highlights whenever I visit family here. Their espresso is robust and flavorful. One of the only shops I've encountered outside the Coffee Chain Which Must Not Be Named that does a Flat White, my current favorite, and they do it well. Sadly, their chai latte is weak and overly sweetened, but no place is perfect, amirite?

This is a very cute coffee and yarn shop. They sell a variety of baked goods (including adorable cookies) and hot and cold drinks. They also offer artisinal soaps, and knitted items like hats and tiny llama finger puppets.

The staff are always very friendly and the service is quick. The food/drinks are good and the seating area is clean and tidy.

I really like the Sow's ear and I will be back!

The sandwiches were incredible! My sister loved the iced vanilla latte. The atmosphere was really great for a Sunday morning brunch. Order at the counter and select a spot inside or out!
