Went for a hike in the winter. Very peaceful. Their are paths plowed out to walk on if you don't want to walk in the snow. There was a bathroom and it was open! Nice a quiet walk. Will definitely go back in the spring and take the kayak looks like a nice long ride.

Wonderful hiking trails between Sugar River and dam race on Pearl Island. Beautiful job of habitat restoration by local groups.

Good place to launch kayak. Easy parking and has a map of the sugar river on the bank so you have an idea of where you are and where you are going.

Beautiful park to relax in. Plenty of nice benches to sit on, a small pavilion to use. Nice restroom (pit style), but clean & well lit. Boat launch on site, trails to hike. There is at least 1 fire pit for use. Great shore fishing spots.

They have done a lot of work over the last year to make this park really nice. There is a boat landing, restroom, table and grill here. There is a trail that goes along the race to the damn in one direction, and all the way to town in the other direction.

Great place to fish or just take a boat/canoe/kayak out. Walk path that's well maintained

Such a peaceful, gorgeous place. The kayak launch is the smoothest, beachiest launch. A little slice of heaven.
