What a great stop while on our way home from vacation. We were able to get cheese and sausage for us and our pet sitters for under $50.00.

I used to live in Wisconsin until 2006 when I moved to TN. I have ordered other curds from factories in WI. and the price of the shipping was about the same price of the cheese ( I usually order 6-8 bags to make it worth the shipping). Arena cheese is a top rated cheese (with my cheese taste standards), and I saw that the shipping was under 20 dollars for almost 700 miles away!! Other places end up to be around 40-50 dollars in shipping!! Now I know the bigger the order, the more the price. I ordered 6 bags of curds. Thanks Arena Cheese for being good sports to have lower shipping prices!

This is close to the family we were visiting. The cheese is wonderful and the service was very friendly. It's been a tradition for 15 years to stop by this store and they never disappoint.

Every time I stop by here I spend more money. On numerous occasions I’ve had people tell me these are the best curds they have ever had when I brought them some. This place rules. I never drive by and don’t stop.

EDIT: listen I’m just gonna go ahead and say I wasn’t nearly forceful enough in my original review. I’ll fix that: THESE ARE THE BEST CHEESE CURDS ON EARTH AND I WILL ARGUE IT TO MY GRAVE. But yeah, great cheese here, stop in for sure.

I stop in on the way out to the driftless. I pass up carr valley in mazo for this. Quality cheese at great prices. Bonus you can watch the cheese making process.

Love this place. They make the cheese curds & other cheeses fresh on site in the building. They are well known for their cheese curds . They came in 2nd place around the world. They also sell homemade jellies/ jams. We bought cheese curds/ jams that are seedless. Like rasberry & BlackBerry. Also have summer sausages etc. They can ship to you these things on their website. Love this idea . Especially thinking about the fall & holidays. This could make great gifts. The owners are very friendly. Love that. They them. Have a great cheese day!! 😎😎😀😀

Adorable little cheese store selling wide varieties of award winning cheese. They have cheese curds, which seems like a local favorite. Also we tried their fruit jams which was awesome. We were around the area while returning from our weekend getaway at Gays Mills. So we also bought some lovely and witty magnets as souvenir.

I’ve been coming here every year for 21 years in a row. We always get a family photo with the mouse! Great cheese and great service.

Arena Cheese is a hidden gem, that's not so hidden at all with the giant mouse and wedge of cheese out front. How couldn't it be amazing it is in fact the home of co-jack cheese?! It always sports a nice variety of cheese when you walk in or if you eat as much cheese as my family a selection of bulk cheese in the back always variable selection (Colby, co-jack, Gouda,swiss, cheddar and Colby/co-jack calamente, our favorite). They have a large viewing window from the floor onto the production floor and if you're lucky the owner may be there to talk you through the process or one of the many friendly staff members.

Oh! And don't forget your fresh squeaky cheese curds!

First time visiting but won't be the last. An easy drive from the Madison WI area but worth the trip. A actual cheese factory. When we visited on Saturday they weren't in production but they have a viewing area where you could watch. The retail store has an incredible selection of various cheeses. Arena Cheese is the originator of CoJack cheese but they offer a huge selection of others. One now favorTaite I tried was their white cheddar olive, it was excellent. Also their prices there are incredibly cheap, they were just running a sale of $2.79 a pound.
Take the drive to Arena Cheese, you won't be disappointed!

Arena Cheese will put together a Xmas gift box from your own choices of aged cheeses, gouda, havarti, co-jack and many, many others. Also choose from Slack's jams, popular and local maple syrup and honey. Don't forget a bag of fresh cheese curds! It's a cheese factory after all!

OMG… so worth the detour out of the way. Far too many choices… could eat EVERYTHING.

They have a wide variety of cheeses and alwhave something on special . The clerk is always very helpful and friendly.

With the drive! They have the best cheese curds I've found and the awards they have for them prove how good their curds are! Highly recommend!
