Loved the food and the service. Great little place to relax and eat a good meal.

My partner and I frequent here quite often, every time we are greeted my smiling friendly faces makes the environment welcoming and warm. It’s very clean and well kept. The food is homemade and delicious. The staff are efficiently trained and very polite. Definitely recommend!!!

So many times we have passed here and never stopped.. that ends today!! We came in for breakfast and holy cow! My husband and I both ordered 12 oz ribeye with hashbrowns, eggs, and we got a biscuit with sausage gravy to dip. Now I always order my steak medium rare and rarely is it done right. I am happy to say that today, it was spot on! The seasoning was perfect, the cook was perfect, it was so juicy and flavorful. The hashbrowns werent over done, the eggs were phenomenal. Now I'm gonna brag on that biscuit and gravy. This is a scratch kitchen BTW and they have it going on! That biscuit was so buttery and dense, yet light and flakey. The gravy was definitely one of the top 3 in the country that I've had. It was creamy and thick but not salty. There was a perfect amount of sausage in it. Guys, I honestly can't say enough good about this place. Everyone was super friendly, the service was out of this world. If you are ever in Wisconsin on I-90, this is a must stop! Oh! They also have a cheese store attached!! Go get you some cheese while you're there! It is so good and they have samples 😁

Exactly what a truck driver needs when he stops hungry for a break, a half rack of BBQ Rips. Truck parking is available.

It’s been a while since we were here, but we enjoyed a wonderful lunch here and definitely will put it on the list to return to! The place was very busy, but we were well attended to buy waitress staff. Food portions were wonderful and food was affordable, hot, and fresh. The bakery was absolutely excellent and was reminiscent of the former pinecone truckstop near the forest. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat for a couple or family! Definitely looking forward to returning for breakfast in the future!

This restaurant is the real deal. Safe for celiacs and so many options which I was not expecting! They offer dine-in and take out. I enjoyed a burger my first night there, along with fries, and in the morning I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Even if you’re not gluten free, the food is so delicious - home cooked, definitely made with love. Don’t miss this place, and make sure you order a few of the gigantic cookies to go. You will not regret it!

We stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning before doing some running around. We hadn't been here before but had heard good things.

The service was very courteous, polite, and responsive. We were able to get our order in right away despite how busy they were. Everything came as we ordered it and was very delicious! We barely had enough room to finish it...

They have a wide selection of foods available with gracious servings at a good price. I believe all the meals are available all day, I didn't see any exceptions. I would highly recommend them.

We've stopped in for breakfast twice now. Very good breakfast, easily the best in the area. Hash browns are cooked perfectly, but don't forget to use the seasoning on every table. Good eggs bene and pancakes as well. Definitely recommend

Update: have been back many times now and nothing has changed, still the best in the area and reasonably priced. Perfect hash browns once you add the seasoning on the table to them. I've since met the owners around town and they are very nice people as well. Can't recommend the place any more.

Families gather and elders congregate to make and find community. Men, lonely and fragile put on shows of bravado and strength for long-suffering waitresses with the patience of Job. Bad jokes, pie and acceptance are served here breakfast to dinner. Invisible short-order cooks prepare warm, hearty, caring meals for those who need it, tired, hungry or in need of community. Babies are coddled, friends who lost homes checked on, and eccentric characters, all known by name and order, are welcomed over bottomless cups of coffee. The hashbrowns have maximum crisp ratio as well. Come grab a slice.

I am a regular of this restaurant every time I travel by for work. Always great service. I decided to hold my district manager meeting here and was not let down.

I brought 11 or my friends visiting from Florida and wanted them to have a great Midwest experience. The log cabin feel with the nature painting on the walls for sale topped with the friendly service was perfect! I heard nothing but good things on the food and even the other patrons were friendly towards us even though we were such a large crowd. I would definitely recommend this stop off the highway if you’re traveling, even if it’s just for a lemon bar and a coffee!

Food was on the better end of diner fare. Desserts are delicious! And their homemade rolls are wonderful - so soft! Would definitely recommend!

We've eaten here a couple of times now. While they had a skeleton crew during our most recent visit, the food remained very good and authentic home cooked. We've had the fish, the turkey special on Sundays and sandwiches as well as their inhouse desserts. The manager and wait staff are super friendly. Can't say enough positive things given what else is out there these days. We will continue to make the trek from several miles away for this place. Keep it up

Awesome food, big desserts, reasonable prices. Service was on point for a snowy Sunday with about 10 customers and 5 or 6 call in orders. Really enough food to satisfy even the hungriest blue collar.

The breakfast was great, but GOD almighty the cinnamon roll. This cinnamon roll was the highlight of my day. The bottom is soaked in a thick, brown, cinnamon glaze, the bread is dummy THICCC while still being fluffy. The roll is topped off with buttercream so thick you can’t even tell it’s a roll while ensuring every bite is moist and sweet. I saw Jesus in in this cinnamon roll 😂

Food great. Server great. Amazing desserts which seeing as they are also a bakery is not a surprise. Can’t wait to go again!

I got a 12 oz ribeye with hash browns over easy eggs and sausage gravy it was really really good cooked really well the sausage gravy tasted like it was from scratch the hash browns I could taste the skins in them which I assume would mean that they were made in-house the steak was so good that I didn't even use the sausage gravy as a dressing the server name was Josh he was very accommodating he had brought me more to drink before I had finished the first glass fully and he was friendly

Very good family dinner. Super cute and fair prices. 10/10 service. We had a larger group and everything was brought out practically at the same time. Very impressed.
