Big Al's Pizza

We were greeted right away by Rianna with a big smile and very professional. She seated us and promptly gave us menus and took our drink orders. She returned and took our orders.
I had the Big Al's Special 12 inch pizza and Cheri had an 8 inch pepperoni, tomato and extra cheese with a side salad. Everything was wonderful!
Rianna check on us at the appropriate times always with a smile on her. We had excellent service and the food was marvelous.
I highly recommend Big Al's Pizza. I'm certain that all the other servers are as pleasant as Rianna but I'll have to go back just to make sure lol.

Staff was super nice and quick. Food was delicious! Though I didn't read the menu carefully about the wings. They were boneless. Very fun atmosphere with inside and outside seating. Had tvs going with sportsball, and live music outside.

Best gluten-free pizza ever. You will swear you are eating the real deal. I grew up in Connecticut so I’m pretty picky about my pizza. Never an issue with cross-contamination.

First of all, great service from Anna. She was knowledgeable about the craft beers which we enjoy.

We ordered the Hawaiian pizza with the honey habanero sauce. That sauce was amazing!!

Great place to eat and will definitely be back to try more food and brews!

We had such a great visit recently for girls night. Shout out to our server: Michael! He did a great job! Pizza was delicious!

Loved eating at Big Al's when visiting La Crosse. Dalton, the bartender, was amazing! He chatted with us about our preference in drinks and recommended based on that. Couldn't have asked for better drinks (try his white Russian)! Our sever, Jacob, was so patient, attentive, and most of all friendly. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had. The pizza was top notch, hand tossed stuffed crust was amazing as was the taco pizza! This is definitely a must visit if you are in the area.

I actually had my wedding ceremony here believe it or not and it was amazing and they provided us with a private area and our own bar. The food is amazing, it’s historical, amazing drinks, and amazing staff.

I haven't been to Big Al's for years, but it's still as wonderful an experience as I remember! We ordered extra pizza so we could have leftovers tomorrow 🙂

Amazing pizza!! We walked over Sunday night, ordered an 8" Taco and an 8" Hawaiian, we thought it might not be enough. Boy were we wrong, we each only ate half and we were full. Crust was fabulous, cheese was yummy! Then we ordered a gluten free sausage 12" to go. He said it is the best damn gluten free pizza he has ever had!!!! He ate half of it and went to bed a happy man!!👍

This was an interesting take on the standard pizza -- it was a 12" pepperoni with double ground beef and Angry Garlic Parmesan Sauce ( in lieu of the standard tomato paste ). Wow -- what a nice kick...especially when the pizza was still quite warm. I had 3 or 4 pieces before my daughter and I went shopping in La Crosse and then, on the drive back to Fond du Lac, I had another piece once the pizza was cold. The kick wasn't so pronounced at that point but it was still very good nonetheless. Before our pizza arrived I shared an appetizer with my daughter -- a small pan of the Angry Chicken Dip covered with a baked cheese along with about 10 pieces of pita bread ( each piece being about 1-1/2" wide x 3" long ), which was also VERY good.

The only thing that had us scratching our heads was that it took longer than we expected to get served and get our food when there was literally nobody else in the restaurant ( as you can likely see in the included pictures ). Aside from that minor quibble, we had a very pleasant experience and the food was very good. Kudos !

A little too noisy for pizza place and the service is a little slow. But the food is great and worth the wait. The pizza was great and well made. The chicken sandwich was really nice too.

The pizza was fantastic and our server was very sweet. It's a cute spot with great decor too.

My favorite pizza in LaCrosse! We most often take out but when we do eat in the service is good and it has a good atmosphere!

Good pizza with it's own style. Nice staff and clean restrooms. Fun decor and neat stained glass at the bar area. We went there as a family with kids, and the environment was kid-friendly. Great experience for a reasonable price!

Great Big Al's pizza and the Angry Chicken appetizer with Naan. So..so...good, speedy service and very polite waitress Jozie.

Angry Garlic Chicken pizza was DELISH! (Although, I subbed sausage for chicken) The pinsa dough was AMAZING! And our server was awesome :)

The atmosphere was great. Pizza 🍕 was very good, plus had a full bar, and bartenders made excellent drinks, definitely going back. Would highly recommend the brisket pizza!

Great pizza. Their homemade sauce and crust were well seasoned. Toppings high quality too. New owners have also renovated and cleaned up inside.

Nice place, kind stuffs, delicious food. Try phili cheese pizza.
