Amundson Park

Walk around the sand mine! Sadly gouging out the Earth, but maybe nature preserved nearby. And US Silica gave us this gorgeous bridge.

What a beautiful park, filled with great picture opportunities! There are a lot of flowers of different types spread throughout. The bridge is great. The river is gorgeous. There's a very nice trail for hiking and biking.

The park has a shelter and a plaground, an archery area, and a bike station for pumping up your tires.

A couple Pokestops and a gym here.

One of my favorite local places. Beauty beyond words

The trail there was so nice and the bridge they built there was so beautiful. After we got over the bridge there was a place to work on your bike. U could put air in your tires and there were tools to work on your bike with !!! There was also a spot to hang your bike on while you worked on it. I was pleasantly surprised that they had that. Sparta is known for the excellent bike trail here but they have nothing there to fix your bike with. There is a bicycle shop before u get to the bike shop but they charge so much money for everything there and to work on your bike that very few poeple go there. Amundson park was amazing !! They have a park with nice equipment for the kids and a separate dog park that's fenced in so the dogs can't go chasing after the kids. I highly recommend going to that park and enjoying the walking and bike path !!! I'm not sure how long the trail is. My daughter and I forgot the bug spray and had to turn around because the mosquitoes were so terrible. So when u go , make sure to bring your bug spray !!

Love the river walk, has ample picnic tables under a covered area, nice playground for the kids. Great place for photos, especially in the fall

Beautiful seeing for a picnic, kayaking, or tubing. There's rapids to go over too that are super fun. By the parking lot there is a park and dog park and a pavilion for parties. Disc golf course and archery range also available. Bring bug spray, there's some standing water and soon there will be mosquitos.

Really nice park. We enjoyed the afternoon there. Walked the path and played games in the sheltered area.

Dogs are loving the dog park

It is an awesome place to find wildlife. They also have a Frisbee golf course. A river for fishing and I little dog park next to the playground for kids.
