Timber Coulee Cottage

This place is amazing. And it’s right where we expected it to be! The owners have put so much TLC into it recently it’s a beautiful escape into the Wisconsin wilderness.

There is so much to see and do in this area

And we loved just fishing right out front.

The cows came to visit every day!

If you are a light sleeper, you won't be happy. While the place is cute cottage, we found it very stressful and the owners somewhat deceiving. We've attempted to resolve the simple matter with the owner with her not willing to capitulate. We found this property via google maps, and It shows the location close to the mississippi river and goose island, where we had planned to hunt for 5 days. (see attached photos) The actual location is 35+ miles away up in the hills. Now, while the owner claims this was in error, the owner was unwilling to help defray the cost since we didn't stay the whole time. We did stay a couple nights, the sump pump literally runs on and off every 10 seconds, and I'm a very light sleeper, so I didn't get hardly any sleep. I ended up sleeping on the sofa with rolled up paper towel in my ears. We asked to be credited back for the time we didn't stay, and she refused. We rented a hotel room, and finally got a good night sleep.
