Audio Emporium

I've been dealing with Audio Emporium since the early 80's and have always had great service. Recently I stopped in to replace my AV receiver and after talking with Dave we set up a complete system. Wow, what a difference. Fantastic system for movies and I'm now listening to music all of the time. Jacques stopped by this morning to help with some final tweaks and answered a few questions I still had with the setup. Thanks to both of you, I'm 110% satisfied with the results.

Dave is an outstanding person to work with. He is patient with you, has great communication and extremely knowledgeable. I’m really happy there is still brick and mortar stores around to demo equipment. I went there thinking I wanted a certain speaker and left with a totally different brand thanks to Dave’s knowledge and store. I would have been disappointed if I bought the speaker I thought I wanted online. I’ll support Audio Emporium from here on out.

If you are looking for high quality audio, hands down this needs to be a place you stop. Dave is so knowledgeable about what exists in the market and how they are manufactured. He has different speakers setup in rooms very similar to home environments so you get a real feel for what the speakers sound like. Nothing like the big box store experience.

I found Audio Emporium recently and on the second visit I purchased my audiophile grade two channel stereo system. Dave was so engaged and took the time to ask the right questions. Then made recommendations. Provided impressive listening sessions. Dave has a no pressure approach that is appreciated. I purchased an integrated amp, Hegel 190. Bryston A1 loudspeakers. Isotek Polaris power conditioner. Kimber 8PR speaker cable. I am a very happy customer. Looking forward to more business with Audio Emporium.

My wife and I had a great day learning about Hegel Amplifiers and YG Acoustics speakers. Excellent inventory in different price ranges. Dave was knowledgeable and patient even making sure my wife’s questions and comments were addressed. Had to begin with the Hegel H190 (purchased). Looking forward to seeing how the amp works with my Kef speakers. By the way, if you’re close stop by and listen to the YG Acoustics Cairn bookshelf speakers. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely wonderful to do business with. Stopped in on 1/14. Living about a hour away we made the trip to audio emporium for the first time looking for some high end cables,and boy was it worth the trip! Old school style hi-fi store and service. Several audition rooms and high end equipment. Easily the best hi-fi store in the Milwaukee area

At no time have I ever been treated so well with knowledge, service and integrity. This was my first purchase from Dave (the owner) and it will certainly not be my last! Very highly recommended!

I've been a customer for almost 40 years with Audio Emporium. They help all music lovers and audiophiles with a very wide range of budget, mid-level and high-performance home audio. They have brands not seen by many and and can do special orders as well. Getting a nice demo from Dave is really a great learning experience, even if you've been enjoying this hobby for a long time.

SHORT: Great service and fair price. Would recommend.

LONG: I needed an audio cable. They quickly located the correct product at a reasonable price. Even helped me swap cable colors after the purchase had concluded.

Both Dave and Jacques were great. We walked in having an idea of what we wanted but we were clueless on the new audio technology. Jacques asked us lots of questions and what we were looking to spend. He walked us through many different speaker sets and eventually was able to find exactly what we were looking for. Dave sat with us a few weeks later and let us listen to our own vinyl on a setup we were considering. It didn't matter if we wanted to spend $500 or $10,000, there was no pressure sales and no judgements on our preferences. Dave and Jacques were great and we highly recommend if you want to get away from the big box stores.

The best in customer service. Its been over 10 years of building my system with Dave the owner. Just added Maggies and Klipsch speakers and could not be happier. I had done my research on what system I would like for our entertainment room. I was able to sound test and compare several systems in my price range in one of his audio rooms. Dave's advice on pairing the speakers with an AVR in my budget (under $5K)made my decision easy. Jacques came to my home to set the system settings for me. Excellent customer service! Won't get this in a big box store!

Dave, the owner, was very informative and took the time to explain everything in simple terms. He was quick to respond to emails and though I didn't have an appointment, he showed me around multiple rooms and took the time to show me around when I walked through the door. My father and I have been going to Audio Emporium for our audio and video tech for nearly two decades. The owner and his employees are top notch, and never pressure you, taking the time to listen to your needs. They have created a relaxing and informative shopping environment in their showroom, which is configured as a house, to mimic the environment their products will actually be used in. I can't recommend enough that you take the time to stop here before you spend your money anywhere, it will be worth the trip.

This is the most welcoming store I have ever been in. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by the owner, who will answer any questions you have accurately and quickly. I stumbled upon them because they are the only licensed NAD dealer within any reasonable distance of the Milwaukee area, and was immediately impressed.

Recently purchased a pair of Magnepan LRS speakers from them......excellent customer service, prompt responses to email inquiries and a superb knowledge of their product line.....the demo was set up very close to my existing set up and the listening session was casual and awesome.....always fun to talk gear and music with people in the know like the owner!

These are the hifi stores we must be supporting and patronizing......great experience and I will be back!!
