Chocolate Temptation

They make the best chocolate candies ever! I love dark chocolate and they have it! There choice of coffee drinks is excellent. I am never disappointed with their choices. You should go!

What can I say, I love chocolate; so when I saw this place I told my husband we were going there. I was not disappointed. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered. We read through the plethora of menu options and gazed at the fudge and bakery items behind the glass display. We felt comfortable to take our time and ended up ordering a latte, hot chocolate and a couple ice cream sundaes. Given the strange world of COVID-19, this cafe made us feel almost normal again. Definitely give them your patronage. Thank you. :-)

Cute little chocolate shop with gourmet truffles, coffee, and ice cream. Nice indoor seating area. Heart of downtown Monroe on the square.

I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. This place is as close to heaven as I can think of. My daughter was going to the orthodontist in Monroe, and we made Chocolate Temptations our fun stop after every appointment. Now my son is going to the same orthodontist, and we plan to continue the tradition.

Great little coffee chocolate place with a old school feel.

A rare few chocolate shops have my favorite dark chocolate covered orange peels. "While the oranges themselves aren’t going to help decrease joint pain, the peel will. Orange peels contain a bioflavonoid called nobiletin that can lower inflammation and overall pain in joints such as the knees. The next time you peel an orange, leave some of the white peel residue on the fruit. To receive a high concentration of nobiletin, save orange peels and use them to zest certain dishes or add them to smoothies." ---thearborsassisted living site and Arthritis dot org And, yes, marmalade consumption is another bit of proof.

Very good service. Went above and beyond to fill a request. Excellent quality and fair prices. We will make this a regular stop in future visits to Monroe.

My family & I love this place. Husband & I get coffee& kids get frozen lemonade slushies. Chocolates are also a bonus!

Amazing drinks and amazing service. This was the short drink which was still huge. You get the best bang for your buck and the atmosphere is lovely.

I've been coming here my whole life. While my tastes have changed from over-loaded sundaes, to overly sweet lattes, to drip coffee, Chocolate Temptation has been there for all of my cravings in my life. I no longer live in town, but I always make sure to stop in and check their selection of coffee beans. We love to try a new roast every time! And of course I have to try one of their confections when I stop in. I have fond memories of stopping here with my grandparents when I was a child and now I have fun surprising my boyfriend with different coffees from here. Chocolate Temptation is hands down my fav coffee/ice cream shop.

We love the friendly, personalized service we always receive at Chocolate Temptation. They offer so many different coffees and will customize how you like! The chocolates, baked goods and ice cream sundaes are amazing. You have to stop in and treat yourself!

A yearly experience that we make just so we can get truffles from Monroe at "Chocolate Temptation". They have many tables and yiu can sit to enjoy different coffees. I don't drink coffee but they have a large board with lots of choices. There are some teas in the back and some other small items but I didn't shop those this year so I don't know what all they offered. The many flavors of truffles were the objective for our trip this time. The one sales lady wrote out what truffle flavors I picked in my gift boxes. You can get a box of 12 large truffles for $43. You can buy a small box of 4 truffles for $14 and there was something in between too. There are smaller truffles in a big variety of flavors as well. These can be boxed up for you also. You can pick your own combination of truffles. All the same flavor or any variety you choose. We always visit Chocolate Temptations when we go to Monroe. Never disappointed. 5* all the way.

If you're a chocolate fan make this a must visit place. Seriously their sundaes are heaven sent. Only down side is there is a cash only policy under a certain amount (I don't remember the exact amount though.) I understand the reasoning it's just inconvenient if you want a spontanious chocolate fix and are cash-less.
