Sandy Shores Tubing

We tubed and stayed at Sandy Shores and it was a great weekend! Tubing was fun and well organized. A great family activity.
The Amish cabin was top notch!! Glamping at its finest. All the amenities of home but camping at the heart! We loved it and will return. It was a perfect stay for our family of four. Thanks so much Sandy Shores.

Owners are very friendly and organized. This was our 2nd year staying on their property and we’ll be back next year! They have a clean and family friendly campground. Tubing is conveniently located on property as well. All 15 of us were hooked together while tubing which was awesome! Don’t forget to bring cash!

Went up to stay here for 2 nights in an RV. They had a water hook up and a 50 amp hookup at the site. You check in at the bar by the main entrance to the property. They also sell ice and wood at the bar. It is cash only there.

The land is really beautiful and they have a lot of regular tent camping spots as well.

The family that runs the site is all very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The bar on site was good as well. You can tell they care about it and have been trying to make improvements.

Make sure to book your tubes ahead of time. There were several large groups the same day as us and they seemed to fill up spots fast.

There was a very nice public toilet/wash house up at the front by the tubing check in area.

The drop in point was at the back of the campground and it was a nice 3 mile float. We stopped on some of the sand bar and again right before the pick up slot. We didn't have to wait long to get back in the van they had set up. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

So much fun! Low water levels didn’t stop the fun or great experience with the staff at Sandy Shores. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Low key fun floating down the River took a couple hours. One of the tubes got a pin hole and was slowly deflating - no problem! We just called the number and they sent a tube down to get to us at a sand bar. It was a nice 40 min break while we ate our lunch and explored the shores. Ride back to start was fine in the dusty wet van. If you don’t like nature, mysteries in a river, or dirt, this probably isn’t for you. Our group of 14 from ages 14 to 50 loved it!

We had such a fun time. This place is family owned and run with such great people. We will be coming back here every year now! Thank you to Brandon and his family!

Love this place!!! For us older folks I highly recommend the tubes with the back rest!! It’s a small extra fee but definitely worth it!! This was a very Happy Father’s Day! Of course we’ll be back!!

Love this place!! I have been here many times before and it is always a fun experience! Plenty of sun & fun! You can never go wrong with floating down a river! Great way to spend time with friends and family 😁

Went this summer in july, and this was the best day i had of the summer. Got there at 2 and got all hooked up n dropped off at the river. Was cool to just be able to float by ourselves and have a float for my cooler. We proceeded to have our cocktails and pull off at the. Beaches and just chill and take in the views. Such a calm relaxing ride, we were the only ones on the river and it was such a beautiful day will definitely be going back to do it again

Our 1st time tubing here. Our group absolutely loved it. We reserved our time online, showed up and everything was easy peasy. Tubes with backrest were awesome- great weather and scenery. We finished and the bus picked us up. Staff was there at the end to guide us. Highly recommend Sandy Shores!

I have taken a large (25+) group to Wisconsin Dells six different times in the last 10 years. We just completed our 6th trip at Sandy Shores. Brandon and his staff have always taken care of us and treated us like family. The check in process is smooth, the service getting into and off the river is great as well. Brandon has expanded this property to include many other amenities - camping, cabins, water obstacle course, and of course the great drinks and food at the bar. Super affordable fun for all ages. Highly recommend.

the staff is great. very friendly and accommodating. tubing was fun. camp site was clean. walking distance to clean bathrooms. just make sure to bring enough quarters to shower. and cash.. for purchasing ice , wood, etc. will definitely return in the future.

Went tubing at Sandy Shores and had such a great experience we came back the next day to do it again! The workers Mallory and Brandon (the owner) were amazing and so nice and friendly! Brandon helped us out and even helped us to a very nice little beach/island for us to stop at. Great experience and recommend everyone to give Sandy Shores a try as they won’t disappoint! We will be back again!

I’ve been tubing here multiple times and have always had a great time! The owner, Brandon, and the other employees are all so nice, friendly, and helpful. The entire tubing ride is so relaxing and fun. It gets a little tricky at the end but there is always an employee there on a jet ski to help push you in the right direction. I couldn’t recommend this place more and will definitely be back!

Always a pleasure coming to Sandy Shores! My crew has been camping here 4 years now and it’s always growing and improving! Brandon and staff always striving to make your camping/tubing experience a great one and it doesn’t go unnoticed! Thank you guys!

What an awesome experience. The river was beautiful. The water was clean. Saw all kinds of wildlife. Had so much fun stopping at the sand bars to hang out and do some swimming. All the adults and kids in our group had an amazing time and will be back for sure. Also, the staff was excellent. You can tell they take pride in their job and are happy to be working in the great outdoors and to take care of their customers. Anyone looking to get on the water and try something different should book a trip and give this a try.

Very good campground all new sites with water and electric hookups.

My husband and I decided to go last weekend. What A-blast we had. It was to two of us starting out , and then we linked up with a couple of 5 and had the best time. I had so much fun I'm taking a first timer next weekend. The bar on the property that we went to, the bartender is amazing.
Great personality and makes a hell of a drink.You must go there before you go out tubing.

We spend a weekend camping at Sandy Shores first week of August! Weather was bad( rain) but we did had tubbing :) We had fun! River was great!
It was great! Camp ground is great, place is very organized and clean. There is a nice bar ( food, drinks, fire wood- you can get there) and they have clean bathrooms and shower cabins. We had a designated camping space with table and ring for fire.We met the owners ( good people)! We will be back for sure !

Went here about 4 years ago, the bus picks you up and you go through the rules before they let you in the water. Very professional crew talked about safety and instructions. I had an Incredible time, floating down the Wisconsin River, enjoying the scenery and just relaxing with my friends...will definitely be doing it again this year
