McPherson Guitars

I love my 2022 McPherson Sable! I have the regular weave with gold hardware. It is my go-to, go-anywhere guitar. It is the most comfortable and best sounding guitar I have ever owned. I used it for recording my most recent album. I could not recommend McPherson guitars any higher! They are totally worth it. Some day I hope to own one of their wooden models.

My McPerson 5.0 Koa/Cedar #1116 is by far the best guitar I have ever played. Each of my guitars, have their own souls, but when I play my MP it just blows me away with its smooth action and fabulous sound.

McPherson guitars are lovely to play on. Easy on the pressing of strings, deep resonance with almost a projection of a piano. Would love to own another with a cedar top.

Fantastic customer service! I had a tuner fail out of warranty period, they sent me a replacement at no cost.

Coming from 26 years of military precision and understanding the value of dedication to perfection, these guitars are where it’s at.

So with that, I was traveling across the country and this manufacturing location happened to be on the way. We took a chance, didn’t have an appointment and Justin graciously welcomed us in for a quick tour. He didn’t have to but I think his hospitality spoke volumes as to what craftsmanship and heart goes into the process of building out a masterpiece guitar.

I was so honored, so thankful, and yes - someday will get the $$$ together. There is no comparison to the sound quality of these guitars. I’ve played many of the top end guitars, they don’t come close to this.

I've not been to the factory yet but I do own a McPherson Sable carbon. It's an extraordinary instrument. Hardly ever needs tuning and produces an excellent sound. Hope to afford one of the wooden guitars one of these days. Would love to try out the nine string. Can't wait to visit the factory.

I went to McPherson/Mathews for a blood drive this AM. They took me in as a non-employee walkin even though it was a closed drive for employees. I was greeted by Dawn in Hr and I asked if they provide tours of their facilities. Dawn made these arrangements so after giving blood I was taken on two tours. First in the Mathews bow manufacturing and then in the McPherson guitar manufacturing. I was completely blown away by the hospitality, cleanliness and overall organization. Being an avid archery hunter and guitarist I was totally in the element there. As a Manufacturing Engineer and Project Manager I sensed that I was in the most absolute lean manufacturing conditions of my 35 years in manufacturing, especially in the Mathews tour. The McPherson tour was incredible as well. These guys build guitars one at a time and they are all custom made. Both tour guides were incredibly friendly and open to questions. Thank you so much. It was a real treat and an experience I will never forget.
