La Banvanera Restaurant & Cantina

Love when we're able to get out of the truck. Found this restaurant off the interstate, and it was semi truck friendly. My husband and I share all our meals, and we'd been having a nacho craving. Best American Mexican nachos in a long time. They used real cheese, and the ground beef was tasty. Definitely would eat there again if ever in Wisconsin again.

I’m extremely sad we didn’t discover this place sooner. My hair dresser recommended it as we are moving and staying at the best western right beside it. The drinks were great and as a Texas native with high expectations for Mexican food, we enjoyed the food as well. We got a combination plate. It was huge. Great green sauce on my enchilada. The salsa was mild but enjoyable for my kids as well. We’ll be returning back before we leave. The service was fast and great as well too.

It's not often as truck driver's that we come across restaurant's like this Cantina here, so we were excited to have a nice sit down meal of authentic Mexican flavor's. I ordered the steak taco plate and my partner ordered the sizzling steak fajitas. And WOW! the steak on both dishes were flavorful and so tender. The corn tortillas were fresh, soft and warm. Everything came out piping hot. The guacamole, the pico de gallo, the salsa and chips was great!!. Service was on point....they checked up on us throughout our meal, refilled our drink's, I had a couple of Coors light beers and those mountains on the sticker were super blue which means nice and cold! As long haulers we eat a lot of different food across the nation and for you Wisconsin folk's, this is where it's at! We will be saving this into our favorite folder to stop again and eat. Truckers, get inside this cantina and get yourself some really good food. You will not be disappointed. It was great all around! 🌮🌯🫔🇲🇽😋🤤

Great food, good portions and awesome value. Quick service with flavorable entrées. All this and attached to a truck stop. This is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at since the Pandemic. #authentic

Food was amazing! Portions were gigantic so definitely bring your appetite. All the wait staff were super friendly, very attentive, and service was really fast. Looking forward to coming back!

Very friendly staff, fast service, immediate seating, and delicious margaritas! Take ur food outside and sit on their deck and enjoy the sun in summer!

Fantastic food; good flavor and generous portions. I had the Pollo a la Diablo at the recommendation of the waiter, and it was properly spicy. The food came out fast and HOT. Service was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door.

I also want to commend them on the remodel. The previous restaurant in this location was drab and depressing. I was shocked at how much nicer it looks now.

It was amazing. Huge portions. The food and drinks were great. Don't worry that it is attached to the gas station. Totally separate and worth the visit.

The food was really good and there was SO much of it! Literally 2 of us had enough to both take home and split our leftovers as well!

Very clean restaurant, food was amazing and decently priced. I had the steak burrito and it was huge!! It was real steak also. I will definitely be coming back when I truck up this direction again.

Only disappointed did not have Charo beans.

Yall this place was great,,not often I post a review, but this is a great place to eat for us truck drivers,,here a pick of my 4 taco and chips had left over,,yummie for lunch tomorrow

The first time eating here I was highly impressed and fully satisfied with my meal, so much so that I had to come back again to make sure, the second time coming the food tasted just as good.

As an out of state traveler, I BEG the owner to open more locations if not already done; the people of WI need to try this food.
