Bonita's Alterations

Very great experience at Bonita’s alterations! I had my wedding dress altered back in June/July this Summer, and Bonita and staff did a fantastic job (they were even done with the alterations one week early)! Very personable and experienced staff members. I would recommend Bonita and her staff for any occasion! Well done!

I had a great experience with Bonita and her staff. They were kind and so easy to work with. Bonita kindly took on the task of adding a bit of a strap to my existing Spaghetti straps. She exceeded my expectations in every way. My last fitting was only my second fitting. She was able to make last minute adjustments on the spot so I did not need to schedule another appointment. My dress was perfect. I could not recommend her more!

I had my mother of the bride dress altered, it was done very timely and professionally. They made me feel very comfortable, and she has a very friendly personality and a welcoming atmosphere. I am very happy with her recommendations for alterations, and my dress fits perfectly.

I highly recommend Bonita and her lovely studio! I had my wedding dress altered here. She and the staff were all very affable (friendly), knowledgeable, and supportive. They had nothing but positive things to say and made the whole experience nice as someone who knows nothing about sewing and hates wearing dresses. She returned my dress in a good time frame and walked me through the bustle. I was surprised that it was a French bustle (multiple under-layer areas to tie ribbons on loops) instead of an American one (one loop on a button), but it looked professional, proper, and was much easier to walk in during my reception. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and will recommend her quality work to others!

Bonita is amazing, she’s very experienced and knew exactly what to do with my dress. She went above and beyond and took all the stress away. We had two fittings and both were very quick while also extremely productive. Her prices are more than fair and she is such a blessing to work with. I would recommend her to anyone.

Bonita was absolutely wonderful finding time for alterations to my wedding dress on a tight deadline before my elopement. She was extremely professional and made my dress fit like a dream. I dropped the dress off, picked it up a month later and it was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better and stress free experience.

I went to Bonita for my wedding dress alternation, and she did a wonderful job hemming and adding a bustle to my wedding gown. I had intricate lace and beading at the bottom of my dress that she was able to shorten without taking away any of the design. My biggest concern was how my bustle was going to look since my dress had 2 trains; however she seamlessly blended the trains into my dress and I received so many compliments on how it turned out. Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs wedding dress alterations! Only took 2 visits! Thank you again!

I had my wedding dress altered in a short time frame for a wedding which we planned in 4 months. I'm so glad I went to Bonita! She made everything easy and convenient. You can really tell that she cares about her work and her clients.

Bonita is the number 1 seamstress in the La Crosse county area — and I’d even add in all of the country! She made my wedding dress fit absolutely PERFECTLY in one months time! My dress was very detailed and intricate. There was beading that ran on the outer layer of the dress and she knew exactly how to raise it, I couldn’t even tell she took off a “million” inches when I picked it up! Looked like the dress was made for me!! Her prices are VERY reasonable as well for all the work she had to put into my dress. On the day of she let me rent one of her gorgeous mink coats that went PERFECTLY with my dress, and I’m so glad she did as it was a chilly day!!!

100/10 recommend Bonita for all of your alteration needs, she does beautiful work.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Bonita and her team helped a wedding nightmare of incorrect alterations and waved their magic wand to make my Daughters wedding dress look perfect on her. They also did a fantastic job on my granddaughters dress and and my step daughters. I highly recommend them.

Bonita truly saved my wedding day. When I found out nine days prior to my wedding that my seamstress ruined my original dress I was forced to buy a replacement. Bonita and I met just six days before my wedding and she was wonderful. She literally did all my alterations in just four days and two fittings she even offered to do the final touches on Friday night as I waited to save me a trip. She did everything perfectly. She went above and beyond by cleaning and steaming my dress as well. She added in a closet back and it truned out perfect. I am so thankful for her talent and kindness.

Bonita is absolutely AMAZING! I am from La Crosse but live on the east coast and in the last year I have needed two quick jobs on bridesmaid dresses. One of them, last week during corona! She is so professional and produces high quality work. She listened to me about what I wanted and was clear about the process. Both dresses turned out amazing! I would highly recommend going here if you live in the La Crosse area.

Bonita was able to get me (the bride) and my maid of honor into a dress alterations appt the day of, because my first alterations appt with another women failed. Being a frantic bride, Bonita was calm and collected. She turned my very complicated lace dress into something that fits like a glove within a month and half! She REALLY knows what she is doing! Loved Bonita’s work!
