Beloit Airport

Since moving our plane here in Aug 2021 we have been nothing but pleased with the experience.

Great place, I flew there with my dad and his friend once as a kid in 1976-77. I used to watch planes practice acrobatics and people skydive. Awesome little airport!

Love this place. My son took glider and skydiving lessons out here! Wonderful, kind, knowledgeable staff!

A gem of an airport located in Wisconsin, near Beloit, and right on the Illinois border.

Good place to skydive. had a blast but the airport itself was low quality

Nice, laid-back airstrip, great decks overlooking the runway. Would have been higher rating, but you need to have someone on the field to buy gas - not self-serve.

A fine place to skydive, but not pleasant to fly out of. The owner recently moved to live on the field full time and is rude and unprofessional. He has it listed as a public use airport but will run you off if you don’t make contact every time you want to fly (rarely answers phone calls or staffs the office) I’ve even witnessed him driving his golf cart on the runway and colliding with a landing glider destroying it. The glider operation is no longer there due to most pilots and staff going elsewhere. I won’t be going back due to the hassle and amount of close airports with polite professionals that make flying a much more pleasant experience

Extremely rude owner/manager. We wanted to use the bathroom and couldn’t get in the FBO building. Called the manager on his cell. He refused to let us in the building. He told us to “find a tree” to go to the bathroom. He will only help you with fuel if you call in advance. It’s a total misrepresentation to call this a public airport as the owner treats it like a private airport with no guests welcome. Complete travesty. Stay clear of this airport for anything but landing and taking off unless you crave abuse and unprofessionalism.

The skydivers all seem nice, but the owner of the airport who lives on the field is not welcoming to GA unless you rent a hangar or buy fuel. It’s listed as a public airport but is treated as private. This guy needs to lose his funding if he is going to treat the airport like his own backyard... save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. Will not return

This place has called me multiple times, and I live in California... I have tried to call back multiple times, and no one will even answer. What in the actual f is even going on with this place. The reviews are sketchy as well....weird, if you're going to call someone, answer your damn phone when they call you back.
