This was a very fun place to discover. Outstanding food at excellent prices with an incredible waitress. We will definitely be back.

Fun place. Old school bar food.

New to the area, came here with my family to grab a bite and our server was very polite and always checking on us. Place was somewhat empty, few people but my husband and I overheard server talking to everyone since she already knew them which we loved. It’s always nice to hear workers have conversations with customers they know, you can tell they enjoy what they do. She also gave my son a lollipop at the end of our meal, look forward to our next visit!

I'm from Texas but make it a point Togo to the Mouse on Saturday for the dumpling. It's gigantic, can only eat half, save the other for next day.

You've never had chicken and dumplings until you've had it at The Mouse! Only regret I have is not going sooner. Been hearing about it for a long time and never made it down until tonight. I'll definitely be back for more

Chicken & dumpling (1 HUGE 1) was amazing 🤩

My grandparents owned a tavern in the 70s/80s. This is just like the old school tavern/food places from that time period. Clean, friendly, food is good, and plenty of parking. If a place has a warm nut hut. Chances are it's a gem. Jen (bartender) is always very welcoming to my girlfriend and I and has the perfect amount of sass. Cheers to the Mouse

Great food at very reasonable prices. Jackie is always there when you need something.

A little hole-in-the-wall with decent food, this bar rates 5 stars. It's the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in! These folks take pride in attention to details. Though it's a bar type atmosphere, you can feel safe bringing the kids in for supper.

Excellent chicken and dumplings on Saturdays. Extra large fluffy dumplings that are almost impossible to find anywhere else.

Baked Cod Dinner from The Mouse was fabulous. Definitely would go back again.

Great food and service. Their chicken and dumplings are my favorite meal ever. Bring the whole family, the kids love the Mickey Mouse theme and they have a great time as well. Recommend as a Beloit icon to anyone.

They have the best friday fish fry. Very lightly breaded, decent sized,perfect tasting coating. Very filling. Comes with plenty of fries and side salad. Very nice waitresses. Family friendly decent price

The fish fry is great. Perfectly baked potato. Tasty coleslaw. Yummy Beefsteak rye bread and butter. One before and one after dinner Wisconsin favorite Brandy Old Fashioned sweet with 2 Olives.

A long standing tradition. Food is always good, staff is great & prices are very reasonable. St. Pat's corn beef and cabbage is outstanding.

Just what the doctor ordered!!!
We were looking for a local place to eat and have a drink and the Mouse definitely fit the bill. We had an elderly mother and two kids with us and this was a comfortable place for all with excellent food.
We were in town for one night and wanted to bring back some New Glarus beer and fresh cheese. The owner sent us to Tex's Market with a printed map and we filled up with goodies to take home.
I would definitely stop by next time I'm in the area.

Great food! Been going there since the 60s, my parents took us for Fish fry. I’m retired now, still go there!

Stopped in while waiting for my dogs grooming. Staff was friendly had some new Glarus spotted cow, I was too early for food so I'll have to go back.
