Way more expensive than anywhere else

I made the mistake of stopping in at Cenex while driving through Westby today on the way to see friends. When I was trying to walk in I saw a lady with a service dog being denied entry by an employee. I never saw a gas station clerk try to belittle someone like this with their tone and actions. The potential customer tried to explain that the dog was a service dog and the legalities, but the clerk just shut her down, was rude and not caring. I just left and took my business on down the road.

Rowan (my service dog) and I were treated to some horrible discrimination at the Cenex gas station in Westby, WI. I walked in with Rowan and the lady (I think her name was Cookie) told me that dogs were not allowed in the store. I then explained to her that Rowan was serviced. She said because Rowan doesn't have a vest, she isn't serviced. I informed her that we did not need special equipment. She then yelled at me, NO DOGS! I responded with, "are you f-ing kidding me?" To which she grabbed her chest and said that "that kind of language is not necessary". I found it strange that she was bothered by a swear word but not by discrimination. I was humiliated and hurt by the experience.
