Flamingo Motel & Suites

We were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the past reviews. So glad we took a chance on this place! Definitely an older building but our room was super clean and comfortable. 2 sinks, 1 in the bathroom and 1 out was nice for 3 people. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Can't beat the price, especially if you make use of the included park passes. Walking distance to Noah's Ark so we even saved the parking fee there! Will be staying here again.

We just checked out today after a 3 day stay... Good experience overall! The staff was friendly room (517) was maintained very well! No complaints about the hotel... Only a 5 minute walk with kids to Noah's Ark... Go carts great food and other attractions with in 5-10 minute walk.... To the reviews you see complaining about check in.... You will check in at 1030 go enjoy the park, come back around 330 to get your key to go to your room! This staff works hard to flip these rooms! Between 1030 check out and 330 check in!!! Some even sit and do laundry until 11-12 at night....Give them a break!!!!! Great value!

People say so many negative things about the Flamingo but, we honestly loved the flamingo and we will be back. We rented the deluxe family suite and with two queen beds and a separate room with a king bed, there was lots of room for our family of 6. It was nice not needing to argue about the TV with the kids too. The staff was really nice and at one point when I couldn't work the TV they offered to just bring me another one. The price was great and the fact that it included Noah's ark passes for every day of our stay including check out made it even better. They even have a private entrance to Noah's ark. They also have multiple indoor and outdoor pools at the motel that are open late and a hot tub as well. We come down and stay at the kalahari or the great wolf often and next time we are in the Dells in the summer months the flamingo and Noah's ark will certainly be included in our itinerary.

This place is incredible!!!
First of all, walking into our suite, the initial smell of body odor was a nice touch. As we settled in for the evening we discovered the extra bonus of the beautiful 1960 original carpet. It was handy of course that due to our shoes being stuck to the carpet, the bugs were unable to wonder off with them.
Finally it was time for maxing relaxing.
I nestled into what I thought would be the more comfortable of the two mattresses. WRONG.
I was so disappointed when the springs only poked me in my mid section. I was hoping to have a full body spring massage.
Just about the time I was asleep the neighbors decided to test the ability of our door lock. As it turns out, what door lock? Who needs door locks anyways?
I thought the cops patrolling the property was all the security anyone really needs.
Oh, good morning! The beautiful majestic sound of the shower rattling the pipes inside the walls.
This place is a rare gem, if you're into this kind of thing.
Bravo!

This place was nice, we had the mini suite which was roomy could fit about 10 people lol but we had 6. Very clean. The staffs were awesome and helpful. Yeah the room is not up to date but it's a MOTEL which was not that expensive and you get free tickets to Noah Arks Waterpark which was also fun and the motel has indoor and outdoor pools. Will be coming back to stay even longer then just a weekend.

Very clean room. Some rooms could benefit from some upgrades. Very friendly and helpful staff. We needed 2 rooms near each other, unfortunately they didn't have any more available so they offered a mini suite at the same rate. Worked so much better for us. The room amazing!!! Wonderful weekend.

Was skeptical due to my family pretty much exclusively staying in the large Wisconsin Dells resorts or big name hotels, however took a chance on the flamingo. So happy I did as everything was perfect. Staff was super helpful and by the time I added up the money I saved with the free Noah's Ark passes and not having to pay for parking, it was cheaper to stay versus driving home. Yeah, it isn't the fanciest, but with all there is to do in the area, how much time is spent in a hotel/motel room? Will definitely be back.

Recently myself and a group of people stayed in “The Lodge” here at the Flamingo. I cannot stress how absolutely amazing it was. Walking up, you would think it is just another motel room, but inside was incredible. It has a huge open concert kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need from silverware to pots and pans. There was a large living room with four couches and a flatscreen tv, perfect for a family night in. Upstairs there were four large bedrooms, each other walk-in closets and at least one queen size bed. The bathrooms exceeded expectations, as on the first floor they had one bathroom with just a shower and a sink, and a second bathroom with a toilet and sink (really handy when you come back from a day at the water park and everyone wants to shower), and upstairs there was another full bathroom with double sinks. You had access on the first floor to a full patio, and on the second floor a large balcony. For the amount of people that can stay there, the room is perfectly priced. I would highly recommend “The Lodge” to any large families or group of people that want to stay in the Dells. In the past six months I have stayed at the Wilderness and Tundra Lodge in Green Bay and I will honestly say I was happier with my stay at the Flamingo. The space was larger and cleaner, staff was friendlier, and free tickets to Noah’s Ark was the icing on the cake. I will be returning.

Extremely friendly staff! Karina was so sweet while checking us in. And Becky jumped in and upgraded our room for free making our entire weekend complete! Will definitely come back next year!! And these staff members deserve a raise!

I've come here every summer for 7 years now. Honestly the place I've seen is nothing like these ratings. Always have had clean rooms, never any bugs. Definitely not that expensive. 115$ for 4 people plus 4 noah's ark tickets (a 160$ value). It is totally worth it. It is in a great location, not to mention great pools for when you are not at the waterparks.Yes, the motel is old, but if you were looking for a motel to spend a lot of time in, DO NOT go to the Dells. There is so much to do in this city, unless you're a dud you will not be spending much time in your room. Never had a problem with this place, and it's unfortunate that the rating is what it is.

Recently spent 3 nights and 4 days here. I can honestly say we had a problem with our air conditioning but they promptly fixed it for us. Rooms were very very nice and clean staff was very friendly and helpful. I will return next year by far 1 of the best places I have ever stayed.

Motel really clean. Beds are awesome you can sleep like a baby. Love that they have outside and inside pool. Pools are clean. Room clean under the bed batroom are clean too one of the best motels i have stayed at, better then holiday inn

Great experience! The place was clean and ready for us. Reserved a room on the 4th of July and got upgraded to Two Queen beds since the room with Two Full beds wasn't quite ready for us. We got two free Noahs Ark passes and 2 more for a reduced rate of $26 vs $38 at the gate! What nice people. Got extra pillows and blankets. Only downside is make sure you get there a bit before check in time. We waited 30 mins in line

A fantastic family getaway! Plenty to do right on the property and second's away from a long list of family fun activities and adventures! The rooms are moderately priced and great in size! I will definitely stay again!

Stayed there this last week, everything was very well kept, very clean, the staff was awesome, always had a friendly smile, very helpful at giving you extra clean towels, linens, cups when needed, the pool right near our room was very nice, they check it for cleanliness everyday, the grilling area and picnic tables right near our room also!
Noah's Ark was Great as was Chula Vista indoor water park that we visited when it rained.
Flamingo gives out 2 wrist bands one for Noah's Ark and one for Chula Vista!
We're going back this next summer:)

The location is great. Right by Noah's ark. They have a bunch of things to do on site. Pools, basketball courts, hot tubs, playgrounds, etc. You get passes to Noah's ark and Chula Vista when you stay. The rooms are nice and the price is decent. We have stayed before and will stay again.

I don't know where all these complaints are coming from. Our family stayed here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nothing fancy but it was clean. Within minutes of walking distance to Noah's Ark. Our next trip to the dell's we will be staying here again.

I travel for work a lot and this is one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. The staff really go up and over the line of duty. I arrived early and they let me keep my bags at the desk. The manager even smiled and shaked my hand!

Nice and clean. Love the kids pool. Right in theiddle of all the action. Walking distance to most attractions And Noah's ark water park is included with yur stay!

Best value, hands down. You get passes to an indoor park and Noah's Ark and can walk to that waterpark in two minutes. The rooms were nice and clean.
