Shamrock Motel

Rooms were clean and have been renovated at some point. They are motel rooms, but are clean, comfortable and modern. The pools are very clean and well kept. The grounds are also immaculate. I don’t think I saw a single piece of litter on the property, despite many families grilling and having picnics. The building is well preserved and maintains the original 1960s architecture and design. Staff are helpful and nice. The stay includes a discount at hot dog avenue, free entry to Noah’s Ark for each day if your stay as well as admission to Mount Olympus, but that isn’t worth much as Mouth Olympus is a run down, unsafe money pit.

The Shamrock is a great classic Dells motel, so I am happy to give them my business over the resorts.

It was a super clean and friendly motel. Minor complaints were a tepid hot tub, the lamp in our room was on the fritz, and the hair dryer didn’t work. Whatever. Those are so minor. The staff were so friendly and delightful. The location was in walking distance of so much and a short drive to downtown. Plus free Noah’s Ark passes were a huge perk. I don’t recommend taking the amount Olympus passes though… that place is not worth it.

Great location within walking distance from Noah's Ark. No need to pay the outrageous parking fees there. They also let you park at Shamrock the day you come even before your room is ready and stay parked there the day you leave if you decide to visit one of the parks. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. The hotel itself is what I would describe as vintage or retro, but a fun experience!

The Shamrock Motel provided a satisfactory lodging experience. The accommodations were clean and well-equipped with a spacious refrigerator and microwave. The indoor pool and hot tub were in excellent condition. The stay also included complimentary tickets to Noah's Ark and Mt Olympus, offering great value for the price compared to larger water parks. We look forward to a return visit in the near future.

The Shamrock Motel Rocks!! We love the staff, the location, and the value they offer! I have stayed at all the big name resorts - everything is all spread out and the staff is not always pleasant. At the Shamrock, you are in a prime location for Noah's Ark and so much more! The family that runs it, is warm and inviting and it is apparent that they care about their business. We look forward to going back real soon!!

Just left after our 3 night reservation here and had a wonderful experience.
Got the free Noah's ark passes good for each day (literally across the street so we sometimes would run over around 5:30 when there were no lines and do a few slides and come back).
Really didn't have to move the car at all...walked to go karts and Mt Olympus, along with the restaurants.
Hot Dog Ave which shares the parking lot , was a favorite of my sons with great food and apps, and the food truck lot down a little walk down the road was super fun for families and wish we would have had more time to spend there.
Small motel pool inside and out, but after the crowds at the big Waterparks, it was nice to come back to having hardly anyone at the pool and the kids enjoyed it too.
Staff were very accommodating.
Would definitely recommend and hope to return sooner than later.

What a gem!! The staff was warm, friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic and park passes were included for everyone with our stay! The property, though a bit outdated, was still great with an outdoor and indoor pool. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

I picked this hotel because of the location and offers. The room wasn't bad a nice place to sleep. The bathroom could of used more ventilation to allow the moisture to air out. Bathroom for our room was designed toilet against the door so be careful when opening the door if someone forgets to lock it.

There is an indoor and outdoor pool. Be careful when it come to wearing swimsuits they shock the pool every day based on the fact we have seen in 2 nights in a row. So don't wear your fancy stuff.

Location amazing didn't drive far or much during our time at the dells probably less than 5 miles a day. Could walk to many of the place during our stay.

Awesome place to stay at a great price. The inclusion of Noah's Ark passes absolutely made it even better. The rooms were clean, the pools were clean, staff was friendly. Did it have the latest and greatest amenities? No. But it's also not OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced like the other hotels/motels in the area.

Hotel is super friendly and with in walking distance to the Noah's ark. Great location and can't say enough about how kind and great the staff was. Rooms are dated but very clean. Definitely would stay again.

This is THE CUTEST motel...we have stayed at 4 other motels in the Dells area and this one is my favorite due to its nostalgic, family friendly atmosphere and perfect location right across from Noah's Ark Waterpark. Families were grilling, kids were playing on the swingset and in the pool (pools both indoor & out) and everyone was enjoying a perfect weather weekend while sitting outside their rooms on the patios/balconies. Everyone was extremely friendly, the rooms were very clean and the passes to both Noah's Ark and Mount Olympus were put to good use. We can't wait for our next trip to the Dells so we can stay at the Shamrock Motel again!

Exceptionally clean! Pleasantly surprised! Updated room, bed comfy, though a bit firm. Lobby super clean, welcoming, pleasant greeting. Outdoor pool looked super clean. Definitely would stay here again! A gem for the room price!

This motel was a great place to stay for our trip to the Dells. Their indoor pool area was very nice! The rooms are older but still very comfy. Nice outdoor pool and grilling space. The free water park tickets and parking for the park really sell it. We were able to walk across the street to Noah's Ark. Very conveniently located. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. We will definitely stay again.

Our stay at Shamrock Motel was great. The rates were reasonable, the Noah’s Ark tickets were a blessing, the room was spotless, the owner and her staff were so very friendly and helpful. They run a tight ship and have high standards. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Very pleased!

It's a family business run by the owners, who are extremely helpful. It's not a high end Hotel but it's a great value for money. The location is perfect with lots of attractions and restaurants within a walking distance.

We stayed in the king with 2 twins room. The two twin beds were in their own separate area and it was a relief to have my kids in their own space! The place was clean and the staff very kind. We slept great. The location across from Noah's Ark is great, even if you do have to play Frogger.
My only complaint: no coffee, so I had to go get a fancy one. Oh darn ;)

Rooms were very very clean. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and informative. We stayed for 3 nights a it was a great price compared to other hotels in the area. We were within walking distance from both water parks which made for a great vacation. The room could have been more up to date and wish the sink was a little bigger there were 5 of us and 3 of us were girls which made it hard for us to get ready on time. But we had an amazing stay and will go back to that establishment

Stayed for a week round the end of June 2020. The housekeepers, receptionist, and owners were wonderful people, which made our whole stay just beautiful! The rooms were clean and comfy. They serve free complimentary coffee every morning and you get free Noahs Ark admission tickets with your stay! They have a great inside and outside pool, along with a bar b cue spot and mini swing spot for kids. It felt so homey, it was sad to leave...

We have always stayed at the Shamrock Motel when at the Dells. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Noah's Ark passes included with stay, you can just walk across the street. Love that there is both an indoor and outdoor pool.
