The Cecilian Bank

Every member of the staff is always helpful and friendly. In the process of purchasing a business and opening new accounts Ashley was stellar. She made everything happen and it worked perfect. I couldn't think of a better hometown bank to do your business at.

Always very helpful if I ever needed help. The coinstar in the Brandenburg location is definitely a winner. Love the fact that with the online banking you can turn your card off if you lose or misplace you card!!!

This bank will NOT protect you from unauthorized transactions and con-artist. Stay very far away from them. Just to give a brief summary of what they did ... I had a con-artist hack into my PayPal account that was tied to my Cecilian checking and they stole $500 and PayPal charged me a $14.80 transfer fee. Well, at first Mrs. J. wouldn't do anything to help me out with this, and then 2 weeks later Mrs. H. gave me a provisional credit and she told me that the provisional credit probably would NOT be reversed because I was clearly scammed. Well, about 2 months later I get a call from Mrs. H. telling me that they sided with the con-artist and that I would need to pay the money back. Needless to say, I was completely blown away and I knew that the reason they took back the provisional credit back was because Mrs. J. found out about Mrs. H. helping me out. Needless to say I closed my account account, but the problem now is that they lied and reported me to Chex Systems and they said the reason was because of "account abuse" and now I'm not able to open up a new checking account for 32 months. What a scandalous bank they are.

Been a customer way before they were even called Cecilian bank and past couple of month they have been charging fees saying acct has been negative day before when I have proof the acct was in the positive with money sitting in there night drop to be deposited in my acct first thing in the morning since I work out of town and not around during business hours. Pretty sad they can charge fees in the middle of the night when they ain’t even open… definitely changing banks!
