Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison, an IHG Hotel

Very prompt and helpful service. Stayed for weekend trip with kids. The rooms are not the most recent renovation for a Holiday but they are all clean! Pullout sofa was clean (which is missed many places), stairwells were clean, pool and nice pool toys were well kept. The area has hard water which shows some in the shower but that cannot be helped. Breakfast was busy but the staff kept up very well. Easy access location, very short drive to downtown. Would stay again!

I often stay here for business trips and sometimes my family tags along for the weekend. All of the staff are great and a pleasure to be around. This is a great location and my kids love the indoor pool. They are often very accommodating when I get off work early and check in early before my reservation by getting a room ready with little wait time. I enjoy staying here and will continue to do so.

Lovely staff. We arrived at 12 for a 4pm check in and totally did not expect our room to be ready, but they accommodated us. Coffee in the lobby was amazing! Front desk handed me a sheet of events happening for the days we were in town and we checked out the River Walk. Madison, Indiana is a gorgeous town filled with friendly people. This hotel was excellent, I would and likely will stay again!

The property was very clean,neat,comfortable,and close to downtown.

Made reservations last minute. Had no problems at all we asked for a an early check in and they made it available. Nice rooms, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was really good and was stayed full. Would recommend for anyone stay here.

I’m staying for at least 3 months and I’ve been here for a month currently and I must say the staff is delightful!!! So welcoming and helpful! From the housekeeping staff to management, I’ve notice that each one recognizes me with a warm greeting! This place has become my home for a good part of this year and I’m thankful to all the staff for making me feel welcomed and accommodated ! The breakfast was always good, facilities were always clean . Thank you Madison Holiday Inn this far for this home away from home!! James😉

For under $100 a night, this Holiday Inn was really nice.
The room was an okay size. We got a standard two queen room. The room was clean. Had plenty of USB ports for charging. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with several coffee choices.
The restroom had plenty of towels for the three of us. Dove toiletries and a full size/power hair dryer.
My only complaint is the restroom was the extremely low toilet. If not for the grab bar under the counter, I don't think I could have gotten off of it.
The hotel offers a full complementary breakfast with biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, egg white vegetable omelet and fried potato wedges.
There is also make your own waffles. A good selection of yogurt. Juices, milk, coffee...and I am sure I am missing something. Breakfast was all hot and fresh. One of the best complementary breakfasts I have had in a long time.
The hotel offers a fitness center and a indoor swimming pool. I did not use either to comment on them.
The staff is wonderful. From the employees that checked us in to the one that checked us out and the housekeeping we saw in the hallway and elevator, all were great.
Next time I am in Madison, I will be staying here, at the Holiday Inn.
SIDE NOTE ~ I am always suspicious of reviews where everything is great. I can assure you that this review is 100% real. I am straining to find something to complain about (other than the low toilet) and can't come up with anything.

My first trip to Indiana and this hotel was perfect. A bit pricey when converting from Canadian to American dollars but clean, spacious, allowed me to check in early after a very long drive, and the staff were super friendly. I'd return any time!

Room was clean, spacious, and well equipped for the 4 days I stayed. Keurig coffee maker, fridge, microwave available. Front desk greeted me each time I left and returned. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows, nice TV and free wifi. Very nice stay!

Centrally located on the hilltop close to good and shopping. Nice and clean rooms with a friendly staff that are helpful and outgoing. Will be very accommodating if you need anything specific you can ask for help A balcony or patio would be great or terrace for walking and smoking etc. Rooms seemed like you're closed inside a building and would be nice to have a balcony and pool

Spacious room's, safe, clean and well staffed dinning area great food n drinks. Always been a family classic with a Luxury Feel. For the Money the better place to stay in town. With everything including airport within 20 minute drive.

We Stayed this weekend for a sport event with our girls team. The rooms were some of the cleanest I had ever stayed in. When u walk in u smell fresh linens. Bathroom was cleaned awesome only issue was our tub had a rough spot on it where you stand. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. The attendant was very friendly and efficient even in the moments of a rush she made sure everything was stocked and fresh. No one went without their needs being met for breakfast. I had actually stayed here a few weeks ago during the week and it was a different attendant and she was not as friendly or helpful. The orange juice had ran out but after she put out some fresh food she had disappeared for almost a half hour so I didn't get my juice. I would stay here again if on the weekend the week service is not as strong or rememberable.

Very clean hotel in a great location. Easy access on and off the highway. The staff was excellent. They were all friendly. The check in staff, The housekeeping staff and the lady who was preparing the breakfast. Got a really good night's sleep.

Staff was friendly at check in, room was clean. All interaction with staff sitting the stay was great. Took care of anything we needed. Only issue was with breakfast. No problem with the reduced breakfast offering during covid, just that they did not keep it stocked well. Didn't matter what time we went down for breakfast, always seemed to be out of items.

Rooms are neat and clean. My husband booked for a king size bed and the mattress is a very nice quality, soft but firm. We slept really good. The room aircondition is cold too and easy to adjust. Bathrooms are spacious and shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, towels are povided. The only thing I noticed is that, the water temperature remains moderately hot and I don't usually take that much temparature when taking shower.. so I kinda had a hard time. The room includes TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, nightstand, floor light, remote controlled window blinds, small table and office chairs. I honestly like the room. In the hotel lobby coffee is always free. Breakfast is included per day of stay and food is simple but enjoyeable. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, cereals, juices, cinnamon buns, biscuits, sausages, gravy, milk. Check in is at 3pm check out is 10am. Both went smooth and easy. 2 card keys are provided ans internet connection is fast. Pool (Small) but indoor, gym is small but ideal with the room size alloted for it. All positive and recommended.

So polite had a good time rooms are excellent staff is excellent have no complaints would stay there all over again any day. Thank you again Holiday inn Express & suites.

Comfortable beds and decent Continental breakfast. I wish there pancakes press in the breakfast area worked, but all was pretty good. Some early rising guests had a loud laugh and conversation in the hall, but overall the stay was great!

We stayed there last night. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful last night and this morning. The motel is clean. The website said that the pool and fitness room were closed due to Covid-19 but they are both open. Breakfast was limited because of COVID-19 but still a good selection. It was a great stay and I would recommend this motel.
